Blood and fight scenes are Bones' forte and what they have the most background on, so this was pretty great. I also get pretty annoyed when blood in an anime looks fake, it takes a lot away from the scene.

I suppose they did the best they could with Shion. The intensity and Shion's reactions to everything really carried through. Nezumi though... come to think of it, his crying in the novels had so much impact because of how many times he stopped Shion from killing someone before. Oh well, they executed it the best they could.

At first glance I thought it was Safu in the end-card XD

I laughed a lot to see Inukashi and Rikiga in the car with the seat belts on! X°°°D
Sion jr. was veeeeery cuuuuuuute! <3
Good job guys! :D

For the rest I'm glad I read your summaries 'cause the situation 'till this point is way too clear ^^

I don't want to cry!!! Not for despair at least! ç____ç
But now I realized that the last ep is on air the day that I leave for my trip! I'm sooo sad! I have to wait 2 whole weeks for seeing the end ;_____;

Can I hope for a summary of yours before my departure? Pleeeease *_____*

Thanks for everything~

Ahah, I was wondering if it was Safu or Nezumi at first too.

Aww, that must suck to have to wait so long. ;; I... might have been too over my head to try and translate an entire chapter right after classes have started, but yes! Volume 8 should be up soon and volume 9, probably wednesday? Definitely before the last episode airs.

I think it worked out. BUT WHERE THE FUCK WAS MY SUICIDAL SHION?
I thought it would make more sense since Shion is moralfaggier in the anime but lol wakarimasen.

What did Nezumi mean by "I have fallen" exactly?

Probably just time issues? Sometimes I wish they'd cut out the OP/ED to give us more time for the episode itself, because we seriously need it. Oh well.

I'm not too sure on that line, it wasn't in the novels. Considering he said it right after that flashback, I'm guessing it just means he's grown soft and more vulnerable, idk.

A lot of people seemed to ask why he said that, I thought it was completely obvious with the included flashback of one of Shion's lolconffesions. Deduct it, come on...you can do it.

Yeah, the general meaning is obvious with the flashback so all the people going "but what does it MEAN?" seem kind of oblivious lol. But it's kind of hard to put into words? It'd be easy if Nezumi hadn't said "fallen", but words with vague meanings in context like that tend to trigger people into pretentious discussions.

HAHA xD you pretty much gave us a hint on the ending tho xD you expect to laugh but if you cry its a success so you pretty much know whats the real ending =D But its okay since i already know the ending xD

Ahah, I was referring to other aspects of the ending that most people aren't aware of because nobody's spoiled them. The part of the ending that HAS been spoiled to death and back... if they execute it correctly I'll cry, but it's gonna take a lot more for me than most people even if they do know the ending, because I haven't taken this anime seriously since several episodes ago. |D;

...just, where did Nezumi hide the hook/ropes/baton of smoky doom? Does he have hammerspace pockets in that coat?

Nezumi is secretly Doraemon. Even if the animal doesn't match.
Yeah, that part made me go "what" as well. In the novels it seems like he had a simple rope without that giant hook attached, and then got one of his robot mice to climb up and tie it somewhere. Though then there's the question of where the robot mouse came from, because he whistled and it just... appeared.

Ffff to me Doraemon always looked more like a mouse than a cat. IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW.

Remember, Nezumi is also the ~mouse whisperer~, he can summon mice to him even in the depths of space. Seriously tho, I think he always keeps one or two robotic ones close by?

I feel so terribe for Safu right now, that thing with the soulless eyes and and sinister smirk is NOT MY SAFUUU B'AAAWW. (ಥ Д ಥ) (What are the chances of BONES making an anime-original ending/Elyurias subplot? Because I don't think that's exactly how the Safurias encounter started, plus they've been doing anime-original stuff with her from the start.)

ps: was i the only one that went "lol leaf village ninjas" when we first saw the guards? seriously, one of them even looked like shikamaru's unfortunate parallel world clone.

Pfft well, it would make sense if he got a mouse out from his pocket or something, but the text seriously said something like... he whistled and it ran over from the other end of the hallway where they haven't been yet. IDK.

Yeah, Safu definitely did not greet them with that expression in the novels. I'm hoping for something anime-original because Bones still needs to explain that whole fainting thing, and they can't fit everything that happens in the last episode anyway.

I'm pretty sure you're not in the only one. Or rather everyone thought so, according to what I've seen on pixiv and 2ch. Hell I've never even watched Naruto and I went "...ninjas?"
