R.I.P. iRin

Tonight, I have lost a companion.

iRin, my iPod of just over 3 years finally gave up the ghost and died. She was strong until the very end. She tried not to show her age, but she could not help but reveal it through her skips and lock-ups. She tried so hard and brought me a lot of good times.

Ack, that's no fun. I know how down in the dumps I get when one of my devices even gets a scratch, so when a breakdown occurs...yeah.

If I may ask, where'd the name iRin come from?

Rin is one of my oldest characters. When it comes to machine, if I get something white and black I tend to name it after her. This was Silver and Black and as close as I was gonna get. Also, I like the name iRin.

*points* that's Rin in the icon, as draw by Sono like... ages ago.
