I woke up at the sound of my cellphone ringing . Still half asleep, I looked at my cellphone and remembered that I set my alarm, although I forgot why.
After that, I began to recollect my thoughts. I did my best, but I still couldn't recall why I set my alarm to such an early time.
I got my things and went out of the house.
I had no idea where to go, or what I should be doing. Luckily, I found a small restaurant just a few blocks away from the house. The sign said,"TURTLE RESTAURANT." "What a weird name for a restaurant. Sure, turtles are cute but if they want people to come, why don't they name it after a cheetah or something? If they name it after a slow animal, people would probably think they have slow service. Never mind that. I'm hungry.. " I thought. So I went inside the restaurant.
Inside, I spotted a lovely waitress with a captivating smile. She approached me and asked what my order will be. I could see her nametag. "Kame"
After taking my order, she sat on the chair in front of me and said,"Do you believe in reincarnation?"
"Eh.. I don't really know. Maybe?" I confusingly answered, wondering why she'd ask such a question.
"Oh.. sorry for asking a weird question..I think I should go back to work now.." she said, about to stand up.
"Kame-san, is that really your name? I mean.. I was just wondering because it's also the restaurant's name.."
"It's only my nickname.. My whole name is Kamenashi Kazuya. Yoroshiku." Kame smiled.
"Akanishi Jin desu. Yoroshiku."

The following day, I went to that restaurant again. After going there for breakfast every single day, Kame and I began to be close friends. Once I knew it, I fell in love with her.
That night, I had a dream again. This time, a guy that looked like me was rushing to get to someone's house. He was going to cross the road when a car suddenly hit him. He was unconscious and bleeding. I don’t know why but I also felt his pain. Then I saw a girl running towards him. It was Kame, but for some reason, she's a little different. "Hayato! Hayato!" she was crying.
After that, I thought my heart stopped. But Hayato’s did.
My dream's setting changed. Now, I was in a hospital. I still saw a crying Kame outside a door that says, "Yabuki Hayato."
"Ryu! Where's Hayato?" a man asked Kame. Or so I thought.. Maybe like me, Ryu was Kame’s look-alike.
"Pi.. Hayato.. he's.. he's... " Ryu, the person who I thought was Kame continued on crying.
The guy named Pi opened the door and I saw Hayato there.
The doctors were all around Hayato, doing their best to make him live. All hope was lost. Hayato was really dead, so the doctors gave up.
The setting changed once again. I was now in a house. I looked for any signs of a person there and I saw Ryu lying on the floor, with an open bottle of medicine on her hand. I went near and tried to carry her. Before I could even touch her, Pi saw Ryu and immediately checked her pulse. He couldn't feel it. He just sat there, and began to cry. "Why did Hayato have to go..? If he didn't, Ryu wouldn't do this.." he said..
My dream ended when I was woken up by my cellphone's ringtone.

Kame texted me saying, "Jin! Good morning! Let's have breakfast! :)"
So, I took a short shower, changed my clothes and went to the restaurant.
"Good morning!" I said to the workers. Everyone already knew me. Kame brought me my breakfast and sat beside me.
"Ne, Jin. Let's go to the mall later! I have something I want to buy.." she childishly smiled at me. After eating, the two of us went to the mall. A lot of people were there, specifically couples. Kame entered a small store and I waited outside. Once she was done buying the thing she needed, she gave me a box.
"Eh? What's this?" I asked.
"What else could it be? It's my present for you. Don't tell me you forgot your own birthday?"
I grew silent. Yeah it was my birthday. I opened the gift and tried to stop my laughter.
"You don't like it?" she looked at me with puppy dog eyes..
"It's a turtle stuffed toy.." I smiled.
"So is it okay? I mean you laughed. I gave you that so that whenever you look at the stuff toy, you'll be thinking of me." she hid her blushing face.
"I love it. Thank you."
When the day ended, Kame and I said our goodbyes. I slept early since I was completely bored and I had nothing else to do.

The next day, I visited Kame's house. The moment I stepped inside, I felt this familiar feeling. I felt happy because it was like I had finally accomplished something that I wasn't able to do. Then I remembered my dream. Maybe this was the house Hayato was rushing to get to.. But.. Why?
I walked inside the kitchen and saw Kame unconscious, lying on the floor. Quickly, I checked her pulse but I couldn't feel anything. I was panicking, so I called the hospital.
The next thing I knew, I was the one lying on a hospital bed. What happened?
A doctor came inside the room and said, "Its a miracle that you woke up."
"Where's Kame? Where is she? Is she okay? Please tell me!" I said, not listening to a single word the doctor was saying.
"Who's Kame? Is she a friend of yours?" the doctor calmly asked.
"What do you mean who's Kame?! Kamenashi Kazuya!" I was startled. "I brought him to the hospital not long ago!"
"Please calm down.. You've just woken up from a coma." the doctor replied.
"Coma? What the hell are you talking about? I'm perfectly fine! Now tell me if Kame is okay!" I continued.
After 2 minutes of arguing with the doctor, the nurses came in and injected somehting unto me.

"Jin..Jin..!" a girl called my name. It was Kame's voice.. I was relieved to hear it.
I saw her approaching me. I smiled. "Jin, I know that you love me.. I love you too, but, you need to move on in order to live.."
"What.. What are you saying? I don't understand.." I answered.
" I'm no longer alive.. You were reincarnated and I wasn't.. That's why I regret committing suicide.."
"S..Suicide? Don't tell me you're.. Ryu?"
She smiled. " I know that I'll always have a place in your heart, and you'll always be in mine..Goodbye.. Jin."

Those were the last words that she said to me..
After that, I woke up. I realized that all that happened was a dream.. Kame doesn't exist in this world, but only exists in my heart.
"I'll always love you.. Kame.."
