I'm kinda interested in this game (after reading your review), love the game play and the story but not for the stripping part ahahhaahaha.
kinda feels like this game is made for perverts "orz
Just my thoughts.
The customization part is cool. graphics..for psp, it's quite well done. Though, it's sad that you can't pick the gender when you first play, but only able to play a female after you've played once.
I'll so be playing this game :D

oh the stripping part is unexpectedly fun, and it might not as pervy as what you imagine haha. and you're right about that, there are lots of things that can make perverts happy in this game ^^;;
yeah but I find it weird after playing my 2nd try for a few minutes and I picked a girl, since the story was made for a guy as the main protagonist, it feels weird though.
I'm glad I can persuade you to play haha :D

if you check Akihabara's google map you can find the similarity with the map in the game.
you can try the virtual tour before you actually go to Akihabara so you won't get lost :)

i was looking forward this game because the black hair girl is voiced by hikasa yoko (how fangirl i am xD)
thanks for the review that might help me :D

I wonder how much they paid for the seiyuu, they only speak a few lines! it's probably Kakihara Tetsuyua who speaks the most the in the game, but still.. what this game lacks is the voice feature :\

i'm kind of dissapointed...i thought there will be more video scenery fully voiced, because i had hard times playing the game i dropped it until now but i guess it don't worth being played if i don't hear the voices :/

I was looking through some games that weren't localized to the West today and ran into Akiba's Trip. I may have heard about it in the past but I probably didn't look into it so I kind of forgot it.
So after reading your review I'm anxious to try it out!
I speak japanese too but I'm not happy to hear the game is Kanji heavy there are still a bunch I don't know, but it wouldn't be my first time playing a fully japanese game. Also too bad there's little voice acting as these tend to be the saving grace to those like me (maybe you too, I don't know ;) ) that can't rely too much on their own kanji knowledge!

you might wanna try Akiba's Trip Plus though, I heard it has fully voiced acting and improved graphic at some parts (the game was released during June 2012).
I haven't tried it yet but if you haven't tried the game then you should probably try the Plus version instead :)
