B&N?

So I had my first interview at Barnes and Noble today. I have my second one tomorrow at 5. It went well, they said they have openings and they seemed to like me. The only problem is the pay. $7.50 max. So heres the question I'm posing to y'all ( Read more... )

You should work at Gap for $9. Decent music, obnoxiously bright lighting, and the best espresso ever next door.

On second thought, how much of a discount do you get at B&N?

this is a tough call. Personally, though, I would much rather work at B&N even with a lower paycheck. You get to look at books all day which is much more fulfilling and intellectually stimulating than parking cars.
BUT- do you really need money? Are you willing to compromise coolness points for a mere $2.50 more an hour?

I'm alright for money, I really dont have to work, I've got enough saved from the summer. But its not like the Hilton is a bad place to work either, its got good status too.

I think I will take the BN job, my second interview is today at 5!!!
