Went to every pawn shop I could find yesterday. Most of them were fairly helpful, except for the guy at Miracle Pawn (on the Guide, by Kline Road). That jack-ass actually wanted me to sign a paper promising that if someone did bring my bike in, and he bought it off them, I'd pay Mr. Miracle some money for his trouble. Between the hours of 2 and 10am, someone sawed off part of our cedar tree and stole my tricycle. This rather smacks of premeditation, as it's only been chained to that tree since Friday night (very late), and the tree was definitely sawed through. What's happening today, people?

I love coming home to a big sleepy doggy sprawled out on my bedroom floor. I'm sure he'd be in my bed if it weren't so high off the ground.

I'm up, I'm dressed, I've got some coffee, and I'm about to take Harvey out on a walk. I daresay I'm on the way to a rather productive morning.

I interviewed at the Food Co-op today. It went pretty well, and I'll know by Friday at latest whether I get the job. I hope so ( Read more... )

Why is it that whenever I'm going to be up really late, I don't eat enough to keep me going through the night? Answer: Because my belly doesn't actually hold much at a time.
