 Chapter Two:
Junhyung had been absent from school the rest of the week and well into the next. Kikwang and Dongwoon got suspicious of Jang Hyunseung and Yoon Doojoon. Near lunch, they decided to interrogate  Hyunseung. Kikwang and Dongwoon hunted him down at his locker, slamming it closed.
“Yah, where’s our Junhyungie at?” Kikwang demanded, poking Hyunseung. “Tell us, Curly.”
“Why would I know where he is?” the elder asked, confusion written across his face.
“Don’t play dumb with us!” Dongwoon spat. “I know Junhyung hasn’t been here for all of last week and none of this week! What’d you do to him?!”
“He hasn’t been here?” When the other two shook their heads, skeptic on whether he was being sincere or not. “At all? Yong hasn’t been here the past week?”
“No, Junhyung hasn’t been here. Now, out with it, Curly Cue. Where is our Junhyungie?” At their demand, Doojoon laughed from across the hallway. He walked over to stand next to Hyunseung.
“You mean that sorry excuse of a man?” Doojoon asked, still laughing.
“What’d you do to him?!” Dongwoon was getting angrier by the minute. He wanted to know why his hyung wasn’t at school.
Laughing again, Doojoon nudged Hyunseung. “I didn’t do anything Hyunseung didn’t do over the summer.” Hyunseung looked at him with a confused expression and the eldest rolled his eyes. “Don’t act like you didn’t know that he was a lousy toy, Seung.”
“What do you mean by that?” Kikwang could feel his blood boiling.
“Why don’t you ask Seungie? He’s the one who made your friend his bitch over the summer.”
Kikwang slammed Doojoon up against the wall of lockers, his muscles showing through the sleeves of his school uniform. “What the hell did you just say?! Huh? You want to lose your teeth?! Junhyung is nobody’s bitch!”
“He was Hyunseung’s.” He tried to push Kikwang away, failing at it. He frowned. “This nerd has some strength!”
“What does he mean?” Dongwoon looked at Hyunseung, the two of them being the more nonviolent ones among their friends.
“Junhyung and I met over the summer. We weren’t exactly friends, but we had each other’s back if something happened. He got jumped, I showed up, and he owed me something for helping him. So I-”
“Made him your bitch. You made him your toy,” Doojoon supplied.
“No, I didn’t make him my toy. He would just keep me company whenever my parents were out of town. I didn’t like being alone…”
Doojoon looked at him, eyes wide from shock. “Are you saying that you never…?”
“That I never what?”
“You never slept with him?”
“Not against his will, no. And it was just once.” Hyunseung narrowed his eyes at the eldest. “Why? What did you…” It was his turn to be in shock. His eyes widened to double their normal size. “Doojoon, please tell me that you didn’t…”
“I would, but it’d be a lie…” Doojoon’s voice was quiet, but that didn’t keep the three from hearing it. Hyunseung closed his eyes before opening them and whipping around. He raced for the door of the school, hurrying to his car. He drove away, speeding down the road.
His heart was pounding as he neared Junhyung’s. After seeing the front door kicked in, he had to remind himself to breathe. He slammed on the brakes, cutting the engine, and slamming the car door after he climbed out. He ran up the porch steps and into the house.
“Junhyung!” he shouted. It echoed through the house. “Junhyung, where are you?” He searched the first floor, frantically running up to the second floor when he hadn’t found the younger. “Junnie! Where the hell are you?!” He entered the bathroom, hearing the showerhead running. He pulled the curtain away, seeing Junhyung curled into a ball on the bottom of the porcelain tub. “Junhyung…” He reached out and touched the younger’s arm.
Flinching, Junhyung pulled back, seeming to curl into a tighter ball of a drenched mess. “Go away,” he whispered, his voice hoarse. “Go away…”
“Junnie, what did Doojoon do to you?”
Hearing the nickname that only one person used, Junhyung looked up through wet lashes at him, eyes puffy and red. Seeing the appearance of the younger, Hyunseung reached over to turn the water off, flinching at the temperature. He reached down to help Junhyung out of the tub, but he was pushed away.
“Just leave me alone…I didn’t do anything to deserve this.”
“Junnie, listen to me.” When the other refused to make eye contact, Hyunseung grabbed him by the chin, forcing him to look at him. The rough treatment made Junhyung whimper. “Junnie, you need to tell me what he did to you…”
When he didn’t answer, the elder sighed. He scooped Junhyung into his arms and carried him to his room. He placed the younger in a chair so he could dig around for dry clothes. When he found them, he went to Junhyung, trying to pull the drenched shirt off of him.
“N-no…please don’t…” Junhyung pushed away Hyunseung’s hands, wrapping his arms around his legs. He tried to protest again, but Hyunseung managed to get the younger’s shirt off. He threw it on the floor.
“Look, if you want, I’ll leave the room so you can change. You have to get out of those clothes before you get sick.” He left the room, keeping his back to the door as he heard Junhyung moving around inside the bedroom. When Junhyung opened the door, Hyunseung turned around, smiling slightly at the oversized clothing nearly falling off of the younger.
“Why are you staring, Seungie?”
Hearing his nickname in the younger’s voice only made him smile more. He hoist Junhyung off of his feet, leading him to the bed, and playfully throwing him onto it. “Are you my kitten, Junnie?” Hyunseung laughed when Junhyung mewed like a typical cat. He shook his head, climbing onto the bed and pulled the other with him to lay flat on its surface.
“Will you stay with me tonight, Seungie?” Junhyung whispered, wrapping his arms around the elder’s waist and snuggling closer to him. “I don’t want Yoon coming back again…”
“How many times has he been here in the past two weeks?” When he received no answer, he pulled back in order to look at Junhyung. The tears rolling down his face were enough of an indication. “Junnie…?”
“He’s been here four times, Seungie.” Biting his lip to try to stifle the noise, Junhyung buried his face in Hyunseung’s chest and sobbed.
“Shhh. I’m here, Junnie.” Hyunseung ran his fingers through the younger’s hair, trying to sooth him. “I’m here, Junnie. You don’t have to be afraid anymore.”
“Every night Doojoon comes back, he hurts and uses me…”
The new information confused him. “What do you mean by him using and hurting you?” Whimpers accompanied the sobs wracking Junhyung’s body. “Shhh, Junnie.” He wrapped his arms tighter around the shaking frame. “Junnie, it’s okay…”
“He raped me, Seungie…”
Hearing those words made Hyunseung’s blood run cold, his heart dangerously close to stopping. Something inside him ached to beat the shit out of Doojoon. He swore to himself that he’d never let the elder hurt Junhyung again. He promised himself that even if it killed him, he’d protect the man in his arms from the Yoon Clan.
