Ah, life. It's strange... tomorrow is my last day being a teenager. It's an interesting time, when one realizes that a phase in their life has come to an end. I suppose I've known this for some time now, as these past few months have been quite the rough transition period... and the next few months shall continue that transition, I believe. No... for the Happy Birthday song. It's not public domain, which means that some lucky bastard actually owns the rights to that horrible little tune and legally must be paid whenever it is sung, played, or broadcast. Of course, we all get away with singing it at our own private residences wthout having to fork over the dough, but haven't you noticed that they never use it in movies or on TV or in restaurants? That's why.
