[ GLaDOS is stationed on the musty old couch that came with the house and has been there ever since John first carried her in from the taxi that brought them over from her apartment. Her communicator -- or 'Gwen's' rather -- is sitting on the cushion beside her. Her legs are drawn up to her chest, chin set down on top of her knees, and she is looking down at her feet. Her toes wiggle when she tells them to, but otherwise, she still has any sensation in them.

It makes walking difficult. Everything about this current situation is suboptimal. GLaDOS frowns. Somewhere in the next room there is movement. ]

[He's got a slice of pizza; a cold one from the other night, when he hears her voice. He moves into the living room and looks over at her.]

[ After a night of sleeping - and deciding she hates sleeping - Cameron knocks on John's door. There are less than two hours until noon, so she is anticipating he will be some variant of awake by now. ]
