Gin, allspice rum, pineapple juice, bitters, egg white.

Never have I had a more delicately balanced drink. And even the Violet Hour bartender seemed to have to work for it, which tells you something.

Proportions? I'm still looking for a drink that features the allspice dram without it dominating.

If I recall correctly, it was about 3-2-3-1-dash, as per the list above. But really, when I said tinkering, I meant it -- the bartender tasted the thing about six times during the process. I wouldn't expect this first few runs to be palatable if mixed at home.

You had me until egg white. I'd, obviously, have to try it... but... egg white? Makes me think of hangover cures.

Just a bit on the top for foaminess. It's not that uncommon. If you've had a properly mixed Pisco Sour, you've already tried it.
