GANTZ
Should have post this yesterday but doesnt matter, anyway..
Happy GANTZ Day *and night too* to all Bruneian, Malaysian and some Singaporean Arashian that are just too crazy that went to JB *you know who you are..LOL..* just for watching GANTZ movie..we all do crazy stuffs for fandom sake.. (^_^)b
watching GANTZ was fun and I enjoyed it very much..well cant say that I TOTALLY enjoyed it because I have to controlled my "inner fan feeling, flailing & drooling" over tight leather suit Kazu..you know how tortured I am with that kind of situation..
So yesterday, I went to SriQlap (pronunciation Se-Ri-Kyu-Lap) around 5+ pm to buy the ticket and try stalking GANTZ poster/banner/cardboard *again* there but still no avail..with disappointment, I went to the Mall around 6+ pm hoping the cineplex staffs hanging a huge GANTZ banner at the corridor..
*Movie ticket?? it's just a plain small piece of paper with GANTZ printed on it~!! LOL..*
No huge Gantz banner hanging *Boo~!!* but I found a standing poster instead *YaaaY~!!* which make me wanna do the "Kazu Victory Dance"..LOL..and since the poster is at the other end of the building and no people around, I snapped some pics happily like a freak.. <333
after some snapping here and there, I went around to kill some time and then went back to SriQlap..thankfully the traffic is good and arrived smoothly before 8pm and I just in time to go inside the cinema hall before the movie start *maybe around 5 minute??* and my seat is pretty ok for me, a middle seat in a row but maybe next time will choose row C,D or E.. (^_^;)
as usual, before the movie start, they show us some upcoming movie promos & cms..well, actually, its just 2 promos & a cm..if I remember correctly, a promo for the upcoming Thor and a Japanese movie starring Oguri Shun-san..I was like "Eeeh~!? is that Shun-kun?? he's a bit chubby..new movie?? havent heard about it..will search later.." <333
but the best part before the movie started is the CM..the "NO MORE EIGA DOROBO" cm~!! I had to controlled myself from laughing and my hands from clapping *like Sho-san always do* and I giggled so much that people around me went (O.o) (O.O) (o.O) maybe they think I'm crazy since they dont understand anything about the CM like "what's so funny about that?? its just a person with a camera & siren head"..well FYI, that because its reminded me of Riidaa Dorobo & Aiba Keiji monomane (impersonation) in Himitsu..LOL..

Click to viewok, now back to the movie..the 1st one-third part of the movie is sooooo slow that I think people will get it a bit boring..in 2nd part, the tension rise a bit thanks to the radio freak, red white striped alien..and everybody tension is so high in the 3rd part because of the fighting scene..a part near the end is a bit of melo-drama and the ending when Kazu talk in front of the GANTZ sphere make him looked stupid but still HOT~!!
a bit spoiler..like I said above, I think people start to enjoy GANTZ from the 2nd part of the movie..the helmet alien *because of the hairstyle..can I call that a hair style?? LOL* sure rise the tension a bit..people around me screamed like crazy when the alien head abruptly turn backward..I even heard some people (front row??) saying something like "its shocked me like I'm watching a horror ghost movie"(???)
comparing with the 1st one-third, I nearly snooze off because of the slooooow progression..what make me quite awake is because of the SPLATTERING BLOOD of the onion alien and those stupid greedy participants..I clearly can see the faces of those whose watching that part last night went (O.O)
the 3rd part is TOTALLY AWESOME~!! the CG for that Myooh(?) deity and Kuan Yin is TOTALLY 世界 レベル~!! the part when the Myooh taking his stance!!? the part when Kuan Yin drawing her swords!!? かっこいい~!! my tension at the peak *like Aiba-san* during that moment that I cant sit patiently anymore!!
the sad part for me is when that おばあちゃん & her 孫 died in the 2nd part..TOTALLY DEFENSELESS!! and I nearly cried when 西くん died *why does such ikemen die so young??*..huhuhu.. (T.T) I know he's a bit arrogant in the movie but I totally understand his feeling..I mean, he's a teenager and the sole survivor of the previous alien hunt..who doesnt want to win, resurrect and start a new life again?? and because of the "menu", his mind is corrupted..and so does 玄野くん..although his mind went straight again after "that incident"..thank god/director/script writer..
[WARNING!!] Overall, its a GOOD movie to watch if you can stand all of the the grotesque, blood splattering, stabbing, kill kill die die scenes *and there are some nude scene too although they cut it a bit for ASEAN theater version* and I think the scene where 玄野くん hide his コンドーム make some fangirls imagining 変態 stuffs like "aaa~ he's hiding his condom..wonder what he look like when wearing that (insert 変態 image here)..kyaaaaa~!!"
again, its a VERY GOOD movie..maybe will go to watch it again for the 2nd time this Sunday..and if I have enough saving, will pre-order the DVD so that I can flail & drool endlessly watching Kazu in tight leather suit in the future..and really cant wait for the sequel GANTZ II : Perfect Answer..hope the local cinema will buy & screen the movie in mid-June *17th June anyone??* or July.. <333
on the other note, I saw someone from afar wearing Green Heart t-shirt/jacket last night and I think I KNOW who you are *hint hint* :P
and for those who havent watch the movie yet, like what the sphere GANTZ said, "行ってください (ittekudasai)..Please go now.." definitely recommended~!! (^.^)b
