I don't actually find it very taxing - it's a chance to get my prose skills out a little bit. I've received crit before on putting a little too much of his thought processes into the action tags for people to respond to, so it looks like they're reading his mind, but that's not a very difficult habit to adjust. I guess the worst is him not being able to tell people his name, or correct mistaken assumptions while we're threading! Though the latter part is sometimes awesome, so just the first.

Who would you try to top me into apping?

UMM. Man this question is difficult for a couple of reasons, one being that I legitimately cannot top to save my life (everrr), and another being that I have a heavy case of canon self-hatred or. Something. ALL OF THE SERIES I PLAY FROM ARE FLAWEDDD and I am very aware of those flaws and I don't want people to be like HURR ELLIOT THIS SUCKS!! That said, I kind of want to say ... Celty from DRRR? BECAUSE SHE IS ... a badass and a mythological figure trying to deal with a modern setting and ... and ... oh man I am really horrible at character pimping even when I love them :(.

ummm has this been asked yet because this is the question I thought of this morning before you had this many comments: Do your characters know each other offscreen? Either way, how would they feel about each other?

NO, NO ONE HAS ASKED THAT.

And no, they don't really! They sort of move around each other without ever quite touching because I fail at playercest. Sera knows of the dragons' existence because she sees them flying sometimes, and she knows Sebastian in passing because he took over a lot of the work in the cat shack, but she doesn't really know them. Toothless knows about Lien but respects her wish for privacy and so doesn't bother her, and doesn't know the demons at all. Lien has maybe seen Toothless once and ignores his existence, and likewise doesn't know the demons! Sebastian keeps tabs on the dragons in case they become dangerous and thinks Sera is sort of funny but not worth poking at right now since she has weird holy stuff going on and isn't directly involved with any of his people. NONE OF THEM ARE SUPER INTERESTING TO THE OTHERS I DON'T THINK even if I didn't play them all.

UMMM I keep playercesting and then failing at it. Shuri, Yuujirou, and Glenda have all met at least, but they all haaate each other, so they will never talk to each other again unless I make them. Fongfong is different; I kind of hesitate to say he's met any of them offscreen because he is actually more friendly (in a way) and would actually like them, and Fongfong is so starved for friends that I would feel bad having him meet people and then making them ignore him. Especially since Shuri is also starved for friends. Shuri and Fongfong have a lot of common, too, so if they met they would totally be friends, so now they can never meet because I cannot do that to them. :(

...if I pmed you to try vainly to get you to app a character from a canon I have not apped yet, even though you might not want to do it, would you at least listen to me so I can say I tried

"Meh dammit :|" pretty much sums it up! He doesn't resent them or feel inferior to them, but it's a little annoying that everyone else can just easily express things he has to leave unexpressed or work around to slowly.

It was a harrowing tale, full of heroism, lost tarantulas, big-ass insects that spit acid, almost getting eaten by an island (for the two-hundredth and fifty-second time), partial-nudity and a bit of a misunderstanding with Heracles'un. It isn't for the faint of heart and therefore I'm going to need you to sign an internet waiver stating that you're old enough to hear it.

I LOVE LIEN um. What do you think her thoughts about Napoleon are? I know she's using him but is there anything more?
