If this is a dinner date I say go for more formal. It's always better to overdress than to underdress.

I would not recommend going in a hoodie & jeans, but that's just my two cents.

The black sweater & nice jeans sounds like a good option. I say go with that.

You are adorable and he will love you or I will kick him in the balls.

I like dressy-casual, so I vote Jeans and sweater. Very classy.

I agree with everyone else! Wear jeans and the dark black sweater - it's a cross between casual/dressy without trying too hard. And post pictures so we can see how pretty you look!

And you'll be fine at dinner, I mean it's Olive Garden - hellloooooo breadsticks!

I think I'd go for the mix, since you don't know what he'll be wearing. Jeans and a nice sweater sounds good. Good luck!

:) I hope he doesn't come too dressy...it'd be awkward if he does. Why can't we just be able to ask the question of what are you wearing without it being socially awkward? lol
