For since the beginning of the world
men have not heard,
nor perceived by the ear,
neither hath the eye seen,
O God, beside Thee,
what He hath prepared
for him that waiteth for Him.

Thank you so much, Marissa - this is such a beautiful post and the reminders were timely for me. I've been encouraged lately to remember how thankful we should be that we cannot see the whole picture -- we really couldn't handle it, I'm sure! :-) He is always, always working in love for our BEST, even when (especially when?) it least seems like it. PTL!

"We cannot see, we cannot know, we often say,
For God in love a veil doth throw across the way;
We cannot see what lies before,
And so we cling to Him the more;
He leads us 'till this life is o'er --
Trust and obey."

Yes, I love that song! And I think that is my favourite CD of the three. Do you have some of Abigail's CDs?

Abigail Miller, I presume? No...I don't have any of her CDs, though I like what little I've heard of them. It is a beautiful hymn, though; I've heard several recordings of it.

Yes, Abigail Miller. Sorry... I guess that song was one of the ones with un-original lyrics. ; ) I didn't think of that.

This is a beautiful thought - and I know those can only come from beautiful minds. Thank you for your note on the modesty survey's blog - I had come across these swimsuits (and a couple others) before, and was always amazed how the Christian girls I knew would turn up their noses at them. I'm glad to know that you and your friends exist! Keep counting your blessings,
LisaM
