since i am moving into my dorm on the 17th, im going shopping to buy sheets and whatever else i might need ...

is there anything that i should buy for my dorm-room that you think is essential or that makes crappy dorm living a little less...crappy (sdkjh)?

any suggestions will help!

here are some things i forgot to buy or that i did remember to buy and it's awesome that i remembered:
-a big coffee mug/soup bowl because i used it all 4 years.
-a throw blanket to lay on your bed so that you don't always have to be under your covers
-an area rug if they don't have carpeting there-- better yet, get a remnant from a carpet store that's the size of your room-- wall to wall carpeting does wonders for the warmth of a room
-a full length mirror

im pretty sure there's already carpeting, but i think im going to bring a rug anyway.

a typo! i meant Twin XL, thats what size dorm beds are.... I am assuming thats standard for most places dorms...
