Sixth Hex-[Accidental Voice/Action]

Sep 21, 2009 18:58

[Well it's been about four or five days since Draco's discovered that two of his least favorite people have arrived in Luceti. He's been laying low since then to sulk in private, but it's still a factor that bothers him. So today he's made his way out to the south lake after most people in the village have retired to their homes to throw a proper ( Read more... )

[He sounds frustrated, and not the kind of frustrated that can just be dealt with over the journals. Myuria sets out, staff in hand, to see if she can find him by the lake. Luckily, he's at the on closest to her house. She approaches, but calls to him from a distance.]

Dragon Boy?

[Hopefully you're ready to dodge Myuria because Draco's not even going to look before firing off a hex in that general direction]

[She was ready to move in case of something, and she manages to dodge it. Only now, she's getting irritated with him.]

Talk to me, Draco.

[Nah, we're pretty content just throwing hexes and trying to hit that tree across the lake. 50 points for Slytherin]

[Oh she's heading down already. Left a note for Harry as soon as she heard Draco. Honestly, she's not sure why she's doing this, only that she knows she has to make the effort. Or else everything she's worked on in the last few weeks will mean nothing.

She does, however, give him the courtesy of a voice reply first.]

... [How the heck does she do this?]

Draco?

[Sorry Hermione, he can't hear you. Or maybe he's choosing to ignore you in favor of trying to expel all of the water in the lake. Either way the most reply she'll get from him is more grumbling and splashes]

[Well it was worth a try. She shuts her journal and continues running.]

DRACO! [Maybe calling him by his first name like a civil person might help... or it might make things worse. She's not really sure but too late now.]

[It's really not going to change that he's raging over everything and hopefully Hermione knows how to dodge because again, just like with Myuria, Draco's going to fire something at her general direction.]

[Oh hay, have a Fred watching quietly from behind a tree. Not in the 'spying' sense, but more in the 'really wants to come say hi but doesn't want to end up in pieces' sense.]

[Give him about fifteen minutes of additional tantrum-throwing before he chills out enough that he just settles at the lake. He's still rather tense and high-strung, but at least spells aren't flying anymore. Hard to say if he notices Fred's back there or not, but probably not.]

[She's stepping up wordlessly and settling down beside him a few feet away.]

[You know if he were smart he'd recognize that he was being talked at and close the journal. But he's too focused so he's just not listening right now.]

[Yep. There's a Draco throwing spells at the lake. They're not actually doing anything but the explosions are nice to hear. Definitely not one of his better moments.]

[Hermione left a note saying she was heading out, and then Harry heard something akin to Draco attacking things coming from the journal. He still hasn't found his wand, but now he's hiding behind a tree and watching Draco masturbate blow stuff up. Maybe walking away would be a better idea.

...Except for the fact that he just stepped very loudly on a dead stick. Fuck.]

[Normally he'd ignore that but that crack happened to be right between explosions so Draco's going to slowly turn...and attack.] Carpe Retractum! [Considering he has no idea who or what that was, Draco assumes that by sending a large rope from the end of his wand and allowing it to trap the intruder to bring them forward, he can deal with it.]

[Stupid lack of a wand. Harry tries to dodge, but that rope catches him by the ankle, causing him to trip and fall.] Oh bloody hell! [It drags him back along the ground, though he tries and fails to grab onto something that will stop him. Here, Draco. Have a dirty Harry Potter.]

[Draco's just going to stare down and inwardly cringe. Excellent. The one person he didn't want to see happens to be right at his feet. It's probably best not to show that he's getting angry all over again.] Honestly, Potter, you have to stop obsessing over every little thing I do.
