Sixteenth Hex-[Action, and then later, Written]

May 13, 2010 23:09

[It's been almost two weeks since Draco was kidnapped, but at least his captors had some manners and ever-so-kindly dropped him off at the shore of his usual lake. He sees his journal, but he doesn't bother reading everything he's missed. Despite the fact that time is a factor here, he pulls out the quill that was tucked into the pages and ( Read more... )

at least the lake's nice, this time it wasn't potter's fault, written, action, sectumsempra take two

[Harry hasn't been sleeping well lately, given all that's happened in recent weeks. There's a small sense of relief that washes over him when he feels his own neck chain bite him three times, though he tugs back three times to see if Draco is capable of responding.]

[Poor Harry. Draco's going to probably complain about that complex Harry has, but right now he's just wondering why in the hell Harry's not there already and why he's busy tugging back. Now that he knows Harry is awake and alert, he's going to tug on his chain as many times as possible, all within seconds of each other. Come on, come on, come on...he's not going to let up either for another few seconds before they suddenly stop. Yup. Can't do it, flopping back on the dirt and mentally cursing those ruddy scientists for taking his wand away and sending it to who knows where in the first place.]

[In waiting for those tugbacks, Harry has gotten to his feet, grabbed his wand, and looked out the window for any sort of sign of Draco. And at the return tugs, there's no deliberation, only determination to get to Draco's destination, wherever that may be. He concentrates on Draco and is out by the lake with a loud crack of Apparition, ready to be the hero and do the saving-people-thing until he spots Draco on the shoreline.

It's like walking into a nightmare, like being in Moaning Myrtle's bathroom all over again only this time, the blood is seeping into the lake instead. Cold horror washes over him, and for a brief second Harry wants to be sick before he realizes that he's not the one who nearly killed Draco with Sectumsempra this time. He swallows his nerves and charges over to Draco, crouching over him and cursing the fact that he didn't bring any dittany with him.]

Are you awake!?

[He registers the sound of Apparation, but he's having a bit of difficulty opening his eyes again. Seriously, it's windy. And cold. And Draco's tired and this whole day just sucks. The cuts are all in the same spot as the first time, those scars Harry had seen just the day before Draco was kidnapped have been opened as cuts and though the bleeding's not as heavy as it was the first time he was attacked with the spell, he's definitely losing more than he should be. He's silent for a very long time after Harry questions him. He heard him, but he's trying to figure out how to actually answer.]

Yeah. Potter?

[And normally when Draco issued an "order" like that, Hisoka would work his hardest to do exactly the opposite. But given the kidnapping and all, he's picked up on the hint that Draco might have been brought back in an embarrassing way. He respects the desire to be alone, though it doesn't stop him from barging into SO4 House sometime near dawn, assuming a lack of locked doors. Dawn counts as morning, what.

Additionally, whenever Draco makes it all the way home, a little paper animal is waiting for him on his windowsill because I can't talk to you ever without a link lately. Not that Hisoka spent the last two weeks brooding or anything.]

[Not necessarily embarrassing, just messy. By the time he and Harry make it home to SO4 house, Draco settles into his bed and notices the little paper...heh. Padfoot. Given the conversation last week, he knows exactly who it's from, but he's too exhausted to really do anything just yet.

When dawn rolls around, we can only assume that Myuria and Harry are both asleep, with Myuria in the next room and Harry being the protective lion he is, he's probably right next to him. Either way. It's dawn, and Draco's mostly asleep. He won't object if Hisoka wakes him up though]

[Action] btw how cleaned up is Draco? Scarring/visible messiness aphephobic May 14 2010, 22:33:48 UTC
[Well that's good, because being awake is going to be expected shortly once Hisoka is perfectly satisfied that Draco isn't half-dead. It's more important than the fact that Potter is laying beside him, even.

Quietly, he presses a palm to Draco's shoulder. He doesn't think it's enough to wake him, but it should suffice to give him a sense of what's been done to him and how badly it happened. He godmodes like that. Draco's welcome to wake up instead.]

Re: [Action] in the morning he'll be cleaned up since Harry and Myuria used healing and cleaning -- hisdarkmark May 14 2010, 23:24:18 UTC
[ooc: charms on him, and I'm sure he was a little princess and demanded a cloth to at least try and clean the blood off, so probably just a few bandages over his wounds so they can officially heal up/scar over as much as they'd scar with dittany. Also hi Jessie ♥]

[Draco's not half-dead anymore, just really tired. Harry's fairly quiet at least, they both are actually, seeing how long it took the two of them to finally settle down and fall asleep. He shifts a little when he feels Hisoka's hand on his shoulder, frowning slightly and furrowing his eyebrows together. He's not quite conscious, but it's enough.]

If I'd known you people were going to poke and prod at me upon my return, I wouldn't have even said anything.

[Yeah, certain people have been waiting for sure. Enter one who's sitting in her room. She sees the journal post... and if this were Harry or Ron, she'd ignore it and run off anyway... but considering it's Malfoy, she just sends Terri out front to keep an eye on things. Who knows if this is before or after Harry returns for the dittany. That's up to chance and whether or not he wants to stop by to inform the otter's mistress of what's going on.

Maybe later on the mistress will add something to the post, but for now she's listening out for trouble.]

[He's actually expecting Hermione to keep watch for him, believe it or not. While Harry's off getting the dittany, but probably before he actually gets back to the house, Terri crawls in through Draco's bedroom window. He sees the otter and reaches over for his wand that the Malnosso ever-so-kindly left for him back on his nightstand. Give it a few moments, Hermione, and there's a faint coyote-pup that's kind of losing its shape but Padfoot stops in front of her and speaks in Draco's voice, albeit a bit strained.]

Back at my house. Potter said something about dittany.

[And Terri disappears and then returns about a minute later.]

So he got you some?

[And all of this is after the semi-awkward conversation she and Harry had about him after he was kidnapped... That's kind of in the back of her mind right now.]

[Poor Hermione, being forced into the awkward. Meanwhile Draco's sending Padfoot back again, totally unaware for now.]

Yeah. Enough of it at least to cover.

[It's early enough in the morning that any sane person would be sleeping right now. However, sane is not a word frequently applied to Arumat, and thus Draco might notice a pair of golden eyes watching him from the doorway as the Eldarian leans against the frame in silence.]

[Draco is so used to sleeping with one eye open, so usually he's pretty on-guard. With Harry in bed next to him, he's a little more calm, but he still has the weird feeling of being watched...opening an eye a bit and--oh. Hey there, Arumat. Draco's just going to give him a blank look for a few minutes. Don't mind him, he's still a bit out of it.]

So you're in one piece.

[In a rare display of consideration, he's actually keeping his voice quiet to avoid disturbing Harry. Of course, that's more because he doesn't want the boy throwing a fit and waking the entire rest of the household up.]

[He shrugs a bit, just giving him another look.] For the most part, so it seems.
