I was hoping that this would wear off after a short amount of time, but it seems as though I've been mistaken. If anyone has any ideas on how to change back, they would be most appreciated.

There can't possibly be any benefits from this, can there?

[Yes, he's a bit too frazzled to even try to bully information out of people. Well, wouldn't you ( Read more... )

[He doesn't do much thinking about Narcissa.] I suppose so.

About as obvious as it could be in a place like this. [And he's going to take a stab, because he knows that the real Ron Weasley wouldn't call him by his first name.] Why are you suddenly the weasel king?

Why are you looking for Hisoka?

Why is that such a concern now? [Clearly, Draco thinks that Tsuzuki should recognize who he is no matter what.]

[There's something about the silver hair, accent and face shape that luckily makes Tsuzuki's mind click right before he tells the woman that Hisoka's busy.] D-Draco?

You should come over here right now, even if you're in that body. Hisoka's not doing well.

[Neville's been flipping through the journal trying to find something unrelated when that voice calls for Harry and Hermione. He knows that voice, in that primal "This voice was disgruntled and affronted after Gran told her off at Diagon Alley that one time" sort of way.] ...Malfoy's mum? [...Malfoy's mum asking for friends -- Malfoy's mum who's been in the direct company of You-Know-Who this is a terrible thing -- is the New Feather cycle still even happening? He's going to be trying to eavesdrop, thanks.]

[He wasn't really paying attention anyway, so Neville gets to hear him cursing some more as he works to try and contact people.] Bloody useless Malnosso and their bloody useless books. And their bloody useless experiments. Bloody. Useless! [Yeah he's not happy.]

[...Oh. It's that Malfoy.] Mouthing off to your journal isn't going to help, you know.

[Oh. It's Longbottom.] But it's not hurting it either, now is it?

[He pauses, debating not answering because it's Guy, but eh. It's not like he has anything else to lose.]

What gave me away?

[He creeped on his entry.

And also the way he barked out "Potter" and "Granger" like that.]

Call it a lucky guess.

I think you'll just have to wait it out.

[Let Draco pretend he's sneaky, really.]

I suppose if I have to wait it out, I can at least plan how to use this to my advantage. Nobody knows how long this is going to go on?

[Mitsuru is unaffected...so far. Based on the contents of this post, she assumes that the speaker isn't really a woman, or at least this particular one.]

Experiments never have any benefit to them.

[Mitsuru is a smart cookie.]

I've found some experiments to benefit me, actually. If those could benefit me, why shouldn't this one?

I can't imagine how they would be advantageous in any way. [A beat.] Though this one doesn't seem to be malevolent, considering no one has protested particularly violently about their new forms.

If I had turned into someone useless to blackmail people I know, it would be advantageous to me. [He shrugs a bit.] I suppose that depends on what you consider violently in the first place.
