this is just a copy of what I've posted over at my Blog, and most of the information I put on there I have already mentioned here... but here I go again

Sure... I have Scleroderma. and with that I've got a lot of periphery illnesses. And one of those happens to be Pulmonary Fibrosis.
Basically my body is producing to much collegen, and there is no where for it to go, so it goes into my skin, muscles, tissue and eventually hardens my internal organs, which it has been trying to do with my lungs right now.
If you want to know more you can read about me being diagnosed and such on my blog...
My daughter was, like you, put on the transplant list while still relatively healthy. At first, her number was so low that we knew we wouldn't get a phone call, but as her health declined, her number became higher. Last summer, we got the phone call that an organ--in her case, a liver--was available. Her one year anniversary of getting a new liver is later this month. She's now a healthy and happy teenager.
And that is wonderful about your daughter. I'm hoping that it just goes fast, and doesn't last forever. Not because I'm impatient or anything. I just really hate Utah Winters and don't want to have to live thru too many of them. I'm a total Arizona girl!
I don't blame you for wanting this to happen sooner rather than later; we were fortunate in that we didn't have to move to be near the hospital where her transplant took place. Our "wait" was years, but for most of that time, she was too healthy to be high on the list.
Again, best wishes that all goes well--and that your transplant happens soon!
