I've never seen so much complacency in one place before. It's sad, really - but, I suppose once you keep a rat in a cage for too long, it starts to think that the cage is all his life's ever been about ( Read more... )

The complacency does seem to get around, doesn't it? Although for some, this place has been pretty good to us. Isn't that sad?

Weasels in particular? Wouldn't be my first choice.

Both have their hand in it, although I'd suspect more the fact that they come and go in wave after wave. You go numb after awhile.

Were you here for this month's curses? Most of them were repeats. The City couldn't even be original this winter.

Hardly anything or anyone is original when curses repeat themselves. I hope not to reach the point where I complain of the same monotony.
