realization
As you get older, you come to realize that most of the shit you used to do won't be accepted anymore. as much as you try to deny it, not everyone will be your bitch for life. Not everyone will be your slave, and your behavior has to change or your entire life can fall apart in an instant. You have to be nice to people, if you want them to be nice

i notice that a lot... all these great happenings (good or bad) in my absence... i mean, i hardly see anybody... i can't remember the last time i saw you... and yet, i feel as though my very presence in milwaukee normalizes the city's social median
