But he is aware of the black hole, Doctor. Our course has been charted to this point. What purpose would that serve, unless they are attempting to recreate the Eye of Harmony?

And he needs no other purpose for the black hole than to kill us all again.

He forced a star to collapse in order to harness the power of a black hole, but was trapped inside it in the process.

It is entirely possible. It would explain why he knew of this place.
