So I've been trying to post here lately, instead of just reading other people's stuff to keep up on their lives.

And I can't.

It's not that I don't want to.  And it's not that I don't have anything to write about.  I finally edited all the pictures from Skinny & Tara's wedding, finally made some die-plate aluminum dash inserts for my car that I'd ( Read more... )

I'm glad your continued existance had been confirmed! And that if nothing else you are not unhappy.

This is almost super random: I've been meaning to ask - do you know Sufjan Stevens' music at all? Cause "Say Yes! To Michigan" always makes me think of you.

I've heard some Sufjan, but not in a while. What about it makes you think of me?

Question: How was the Rocky Hroror show? I've heard good things.

It was excellent. The cast list was stripped right down (no ralph & betty, no guests, no transvestites, and Eddie and Dr. Scott were the same actor, but there were four new non-speaking parts added. They sort-of formed the transvestites, but they also moved the props around and did backup vocals. They also came out in usher uniforms before the show to get the crowd going. It was during this that the unique rock-star like personalities came out. For example, one really had the "prince-slash-david bowie in Labyrinth" thing going on, one had the "trashed Courtney Love" thing down, and yet another was rocking the "Courtney Love before the cocaine and ecstasy wears off" attitude. All in all, it was a blast, well worth having to usher people to their seats instead of paying for a ticket.

That is awesome.

I know that a lot of RHS shows do have the Shadows out and about, but very rarely do they have their own personalities...

I've heard word that they're coming through Ontario at some point (in addition to the Canstage one) so hopefully it'll come to pass.
