So as school is about to start, some pretty exciting stuff is happening! We'll start with my friends first. New students have moved into the dorms, the people I've met seem pretty nice. And since the new students are here, the RA's are back too....that means Val is back! I'm so excited. My two best friends here at school are on campus again ( ( Read more... )

thats soo awesome bout the jobs! im very happy for you guys and i kno exactly what u mean about the "wild"ness of the AOG churches, we went to one in nicaragua and that stuff started happening, and i was actually scared, so we left, no one was really comfortable there anymore so everyone was ok with leaving. i hope u guys find the right one, its pretty tough i kno. pray for stevie and i as we try to find a church for us down here

I love you guys! Its so fun to get on here and talk to each other! Anyway, That's funny that you guys left too, Sara! It is scary! Jason said that if that was the first church he ever went to, he would be totally turned off to Christianity. I wonder how many searching people go to a church like that and then never go to another church again. I guess the same is true for churches where people barely sing and are not excited about what God is doing in their church. It's crazy.

I had fun last night guys, thanks for having us over.

I'm praying for you and Jason...and Sara and Stevie to find good churches. That is a hard search to go on, I know. I hope you guys find an amazing church that you just fall in love with. Remember that no church is going to be perfect (sometimes it's easy to forget that) at the same time...try not to settle (like all my great advice? it's really not that great at all).
