Young Potter's form, his name, all these were stolen,
though four - nay, five - his humors were improv'd,
and so, we fear Scholastic's mousy golem,
should by the fanfic be there money mov'd.
So those who lamely clamor for updates
cannot their heart's will, corporated, pledge,
to pay the wit of what in disk awaits,
though by its value millions might be fetched.
So might those whiners, Weiner look to aid
for though they, fawning, might yet doubt to credit,
his Hamlet merits gold as Potter's weighed,
and in the cards his fortune may yet get it.
No Rowling, Shakespeare of no SOPA arm'd,
his shade by your three dollars no wise harm'd.
My sonnet sucks, your book rules. You have my full permission to edit and use this sonnet in any way you wish.
