I Can Has Job!

I praised you up and down when they phoned for a reference, not that it seemed really necessary as it was clear that this woman really liked you, though that the boss who was making the hiring decision would adore you and that you can do them a world of good.

So, hooray! We will get together sometime in the near future to gloat over your glorious future, no?

Oh yes, there will be gloating. Oh, wait, already gloating!

Yeah, they do seem to like me a lot, don't they? And that woman who called you? Totally the manager for all of Ontario except GTA. Um, don't HR people do reference checks?

And that boss that made the hiring decision? Had a phone chat with her, and half way through, she started saying stuff like "When you start ..." or "You'll need to do such and such". And then she'd catch herself and say "The successful candidate for the job will have to ...". Of course, I was the ONLY candidate at that point. Hee!

So, coffee next week? Oh, and Am would like it if you and El want to come out to the barn next weekend. Lemme know when is good for you.

Next weekend? If it's Saturday, I'll have to haul Constance with us, too, because her dad'll be out of town. If it's Sunday, pretty much anytime is good for just the two of us.

Coffee this coming week would be good. The only things for sure on my calendar are Monday morning taking Goldie in for her dental surgery and Thursday morning meeting up with CCN to start the slow process of getting Constance re-evaluated for her autism diagnosis (so it can be hopefully current when she's in high school and thinking of university). Let me know what works for you!

Well, it would depend who I killed. I might only laugh a little. Oh, who am I kidding, I'd probably bust a gut laughing. I'm good that way. *eg*

Hey, when are you coming up to Killarney again? We should try to get together, seeing as I'll still be living here and all.

A motel in the bustling burb of Sudbury? Wait, of course it will have to be in Sudbury, there's nothing between here and Killarney except trees and rocks ... and rocks and trees ... and water. Oh, or you could be at a hotel in Killarney. Hmmm, an excuse to go to Killarney for fresh fish and chips? I'm in.
