ξ Aiden|Lavi ξ
→ His given name is Aiden; though it has been long ago cast away.
→ 16 → 21.
→ Amber-gold eye. It might be possible to mistake him for a Noah - until he ~smiles~ and shows off those lovely fangs.
→ When he was sixteen, he and Bookman had been dispatched to the Black Order headquarters on assignment. They stopped in a small rural town in Germany, on the outskirts of a thick forest. It was unfortunate that on the night of their arrival, there had been a vampire raid. Most of the town had been decimated, with very few survivors. Lavi was one of the unfortunate few who had been turned.
→ He's not sure who the vampire was that turned him.
→ Despite being turned, he was allowed to remain in the clan. Though he is beginning to think it is less because of his ability to make a record, and more because of his inability to die from old age.
→His right eye had been completely gouged out with a silver blade, rendering it completely incapable of regenerating. The socket has since been sewn shut.
→ He is aware of Order members, and who they are, just as he is aware of the Noah. Lavi, however, prefers to remain on the sidelines to watch, like a Bookman. He doesn't consider himself to be on one side or the other.
→ It's possible he could still be compatible with Innocence, but given his current... state... Lavi has no desire to find out for himself.
→ He's really good at faking the whole friendship thing. As cheerful as he can appear, Lavi tries very hard not to become attached to anyone. He'd never say it, but the reason for this is less because he's a Bookman, and more because he will never age like his colleagues.
→ His particular species of vampire's thirst is directly tied with the pleasure sensor, making hunting for a meal something of an arousing experience. Because of this, Lavi is completely indiscriminate as to whose pants he'll get into, so long as he can get a meal out of it. The only exception to this is Akuma - their smell alone is enough to repel him - and anyone too weak to struggle.
→ He refuses to bite children. Though Rhode may be an exception.
Strengths and Abilities:
→ His core five senses are extremely sharp, particularly at night.
→ He can move rather quickly if he wanted to. He just... doesn't want to.
→ Has impeccable balance. Don't be surprise if you find him crouched on a rafter.
→ Under ideal circumstances, he can recover from a wound almost instantly.
→ While he can't knock over buildings, he is particularly strong, despite his wiry build.
Weaknesses:
→ If he has to be active during the day, he's particularly sluggish.
→ Silver can render him paralyzed, particularly if it's been draped over a limb.
→ To somehow drink it would be very similar to drinking acid.
→ Dead man's blood, as well as drinking his own, is also very posionous to him.
→ Direct sunlight will cause him to burn, starting from the inside.
→ Decapitation will kill him. Because, duh.
Additional Facts
ξ He is an orphan - exactly how he came to be an orphan, only Bookman knows - and he was born in central Ireland, though he cannot recall exactly where. This is because he cannot remember anything before age five.
ξ He was born with heterochromia - his right eye was blue before it had been gouged out by a vampire hunter two years after he was turned. His blue eye is actually what had attracted Bookman's attention; its individual ability to recognize minute details was astounding compared to his green eye. To keep it from overwhelming Lavi while on jobs, he was instructed to keep it covered unless Bookman said so it was absolutely necessary.
ξ Like many of his species, he does have a rather carnal, possessive streak in him. And he fights very dirty, if something of his has been taken away.
ξ His favorite languages are forgotten languages. He'll speak them when he's around someone he's very comfortable with.
ξ He has a sneaking suspicion that the Noah were somehow behind the act of gouging his eye out. And for all intents and purposes, one of them might have been.
ξ He was unwilling incapable of wielding Innocence after being turned, and so most of his time after arriving at the Order was spent watching Allen and the Order's progress from the sidelines, and constructing a very meticulous record. He's refused to ever indulge in the fact that he has always been a little jealous of Krory, who could use his fangs for the benefit of the Order. There's a small, unacknowledged part of Lavi that wishes he could have done the same.
ξ His third-most painful experience was getting his eye gouged out. His second-most painful one was turning. His first-most? Trying to watch the sun rise, and almost causing himself to burst into flames. This was roughly two months after he was turned.
ξ The one thing he misses eating most is apple pie. Every once in a while, he'll endure coughing it up so he can taste it again. What he doesn't realize is that the reason why he loves it so much is because his mother used to make them all the time when he was little.
ξ He is left-handed.
