It's getting close to Christmas. I'll be older soon, too. Does...would anyone like to spend Christmas together? It seems like a time to be with people. Just wondering.

Christmas.

[He's spent a year in Japan and still doesn't know what it is. Sob.]

A holiday, with family, and presents and stuff.

[That must be remedied! <3]

Is there even any point to it?

It's a Christian holiday, we mostly only did it for the gifts, and the family time. It's supposed to be about celebrating the birth of Jesus. It's really fun though.

I don't think so. I liked it. My father took time off work and everything, so we got to be all together.

Good for you.

It's still pointless.

Isn't spending time with the people who love you enough of a point?

You have a big family dinner, and decorate a tree, and there's presents! It's wonderful.

Why do you decorate a tree? And wouldn't that be hard? Trees are pretty tall.

I dunno why exactly, but you cut down a pretty one, and bring it inside the house and everyone decorates it. The tallest people put the ornaments on the top.

I see. All things considered, it's hard to tell what will be happening a month from now, but maybe we can manage something when the time comes.

I'll spend Christmas with Ritsuka... Maybe sleepy mouse will come along too. We can make our own family here.
