Heh, that was me. If you append ?format=light to your post URL you should be able to see it. The email notifications are worse than useless.

still doesn't work, alas - something in my settings must be undoing the effect of format=light. will poke at it when i'm more awake.

Can't say I'm wild about it, myself. At present I'd give it maybe as much as 1/10, if I was feeling generous. It would have been a whole heap better if they'd implemented it in a way that didn't rely on a bunch of random vaguely-connected parts all working perfectly together, and better yet if they'd found a more neutral way to label it and something other than a heart as its symbol.

I'm quite late to this party, of course, so all of you may have already figured this out, but I noticed that I can see the Likes and who gave them on my entries...if I'm logged out of my LiveJournal account when I look at them. :/ That's annoying, but it does work for me.

for me, finally biting the bullet and giving up my legacy theme for a current one fixed the issue.
