I hope you're right.   It seems likelier that our country will not truly have a chance for greatness again until after the last American to vote for Bush feels honest horror and regret for having done so.

The people who have no shame over our country's actions during the 2000-2008 presidency are the people who would see true patriots vanish, into Gitmo Prison or simply into legislated silence, and while they exist, we remain in far greater danger from within than any external threat could begin to pose.
