I didn't update my computer security, and now certain words are highlighted which I assume lead to some spyware rigged search engine. Er. Any free spyware DELETION software suggestions for someone who's computer illiterate would help about now.

I usually use Adaware for spyware and junk, I think you can get it from download.com or thereabouts. I think it's pretty straightforward to use, I don't usually have much trouble. ^^;

I had that same problem. Get AdAware and run it under "full system scan".
