15minuteficlets There was a good thing that had came of this…all Ed had to do was find it…What ever had happened had to have some sort of reason. Isn’t that what equivalent exchange was about? If you did something you got something in return. If you take a step you move forward, if you raise your hand, it goes higher.
Ed’s eyebrows furrowed together for a moment, his brain processing the concept that science and reality were suddenly contradicting themselves. The thoughts reeled around in his brain as his small fingers rolling a wad of paper between their pads, its fibers soaking the miniscule drops of sweat that leaked from his pores.
Nothing seemed to be right as a raven haired boy walked towards him, the raven’s steps slow and meticulous. He moved as though he lived to make small queer boys squirm, (not that Ed liked to be called queer) his hips moving in a seductive, yet manly, way. Ed’s breath hitched and he fought a blush that threatened to leak into his cheeks.
Roy Mustang meandered by the small blonde haired boy, his black eyes glancing down once to meet golden orbs, a knowing smirk sliding across his lips. Ed watched for a few more moments before letting free a breath he didn’t remember holding. His fingers squashed the small wad of paper and he unfolded its damp edges.
‘Central Park, 9 o’clock -Roy’ was written in thin, flowing script, perpendicular to the blue guide lines running across the scrape of paper.
Edward took in a deep breath of fresh air and pushed himself off the bench his butt had been planted on. He would have to wait until 9 to find out if his actions proven the concept of equivalent exchange or had misled him.
Once again, nothing more then a drabble... now that I think about it, I have a ton more fun writing drabbles then chapters…This one is connected, or at least in the same universe as my pervious one, Schoolgirl envy. This one focuses on Ed rather then Winry…which is apparent…but of course, none of you need to know that all that, blame it on my tendency to ramble.
Comments make me smile. ^.^
