what I feel

Here is what I feel about the subject:
1.It is just more than faith or works that lead us to heaven. Some might argue that faith results in good deeds, but thats not exactly true. There are 2 types of faith, lets call them true and false faiths. True faith is what very few people have and what we know as faith. False faith is the short term faith induced by pastors and others during healing programs, retreats etc. It is induced by using a good combination of music, prayer session etc. The main point in false faith is that Jesus healed whoever has faith in them, though he knew that faith of most people is short term. With the combination that I spoke of, people get into a realm of faith and this is what cures them.
What matters in getting to heaven is that we believe in Jesus and we love others. The second point, love is the root of all good deeds and is also the most difficult to achieve. If there is love, there are good deeds, if there is love there isnt any jealousy, hatred etc.

I agree with your true and false faith point of view. I have experienced false faith many times. I, being the pastors daughter, have been to countless VBS, camps, revivals, you name it and I've probably been to one. I've felt myself being fired up about being a Christian and then after a few weeks out of camp (etc.) my convictions and fire just seem to fade.
In you second point, it seems as if the love you are talking about is agape love...because we are humans, I think that the only person who has completely grasped and put it into action is Jesus. That is why we need to be saved and that we can try to spread the love in every way that is humanly possible.
