it's not so much that it's bad for the person that's doing it... it's also bad for anyone who happens to be around them. it's not like people can easily filter the air they're breathing and it's not always easy to get away from the person smoking especially if they're a friend of yours.

and it also smells terrible no matter how often you do it!

you'd be surprised how many people would rather just walk away and go smoke instead putting it out for five lousy minutes
