Allright, I take back what I said about the Canadians. It turns out that they just don't update their site very often. my projector was mailed out of Brooklyn yesterday morning and arrives via UPS ground in less then 24 hours.

Of course the image is utterly astounding. So much so in fact that I had to get a HD-DVD drive to try it out.
