Chapter 15
“IT’S MY BIRTHDAY!!!” exclaimed Ryutaro as he wake up.
“Hmm… maybe they have a surprise party for me!!!”Thought Ryutaro as he is about to open the bathroom door.
The bathroom door is lock. He tried to open again and again but it wouldn’t budge.
He started to get pissed so he knock the door harder.
“MOM!! Is there someone inside the bathroom?”
“I think so… Maybe it’s Shintaro,” replied Ryutaro’s mother downstairs.
“Sou desu ka…. “
Ryutaro knock the door again. “Shintaro, HURRY UP!”
The door then slowly open and Shintaro came out from the bathroom looking very sleepy.
“Sorry, I accidentally fall asleep.”
Ryutaro then nodded and enter the bathroom.
He look at his own reflection at the mirror and said, “hmmm.. should I
practice for today… hmm.. ‘OH MY! I NEVER THOUGHT THAT YOU ALL WOULD
DO THIS FOR ME’”
He then put a cheeky smile on his face and agreed that the expression on his face is worth buying for.
“Besides I don’t want to disappoint them… what kind of gifts will I
receive later? There will be a lot of people greet me later. Starting
with okaasan and otousan.. and also shintaro… he should treat me later
since he making me pissed just now…”
Ryutaro go downstairs to eat his breakfast with his family. he sat
there quietly and waiting to be greeted. He took a glance at his mother,
father and Shintaro but they just continue eating their breakfast as if
there is nothing special for today. Ryutaro felt disappointed so he
aeat his breakfast quietly and not making any eye contact with them.
“They forget about my birthday!”

At school.
Ryutaro step into the school’s building and no one not even a single person greet him.
“Maybe they are not familiar with me… but I thought that I am
well-known in this school,” thought Ryutaro as he is on his way to his
class.
“Good morning,” said Miharu and Ayumu in unison.
Ryutaro smile back at them and replied their morning greetings.
“I bet they want to greet me… hehehe”
Then, Ayumu and Miharu went straight pass him without greeting him.
“They forget about my birthday too.”
Then, Ryutaro saw inoo kei walking towards him and he is carrying a big box.
“Yo!” said Inoo kei.
“Hai!” replied Ryutaro with a big smile on his face. “What is that?”
“Owh this is the stuff needed for the drama club.”
“Owh really?” thought Ryutaro so he open the cover of the box.
He saw gowns, swords, a beret, dolls ….
“This is what the actress will wear and the clothes for the actors
are somewhere here,” explained Inoo Kei as he showed it all to Ryutaro.
No presents.. no gifts..
“Ah!Kei” said someone from behind them.
“Kaori!” exclaimed Inoo Kei. He quickly put the stuff into the box neatly.
“Kei, I need your help… it’s about ‘something’.”
“Okay, bye Ryuu-chan! I’m going with kaori now.”
Kaori wave at Ryutaro and smile together with Inoo Kei. BUT NO BIRTHDAY GREETINGS.
Ryutaro give out a sigh as he watch them leaving his sight. “There
are no hints for that surprise party and not even a single person greet
me today. BUT MAYBE KUMIKO! KUMIKO WILL GREET ME TODAY!”
He dashed towards his class and adjusting his collar as he enter. The
class was very lively and noisy as their homeroom teacher hasn’t
entered yet.
“where’s kumiko.. kumiko.. kumiko…” said Ryutaro in his mind. “THERE SHE IS!”
He saw kumiko standing beside the open window. He put his school bag at his desk and went to kumiko’s direction.
“Ohayou gozaimasu, Kumiko-chan!” said Ryutaro with full of spirit.
“Ohayou, Ryuu-chan!”
Then an awkward silent began between them.
“Erm.. today is a beautiful day isn’t it?” started Ryutaro as he is looking at the clouds.
“Not really… I think it’s about to rain soon,” replied Kumiko.
Ryutaro show a confusing look and he look again at outside. He
couldn’t spot any black clouds so he rub his eyes again to see the sky
clearly.
“I’m just joking, Ryuu!” exclaimed Kumiko.
She gave a Ryutaro a tap on the shoulder and went back to her seat as their teacher has arrives.
Ryutaro went to his desk too. He touch the area where Kumiko had touch.
“I just receive a present.”

break time.
"Maybe yamada-kun and the others are going to Miharu's class....
maybe my birthday cake is waiting for me over there!! hehehe..."
at miharu's class.
"I have a lot of homework today! sensei is being cruel to me!!!" complained Ren.
"I~ HAVE~ HOMEWORKS~SENSEI IS CRUEL~~ PITY YOU!!" mocked Yuto.
Ren gave him the cold glare and then she slap his back. Yuto then gave her a glare too.
"If you are having a love fight, please bring it at somewhere else," suggested Yamada.
"Yama-chan! She's bullying me!" pouted Yuto. he hug yamada's arm tightly.
"You are like a baby Yuto!" said Ren and she stick her tongue out.
"That's mean... you think i'm cute?" asked Yuto bluntly.
Ren then blushed and replied,"NO WAY!! A BABY HORSE IS MUCH CUTER!!"
Miharu and Ayumu laughed at them.
"LET ME GO!!"complained Yamada as Yuto is still clinging at him arm.
"HELLO EVERYONE!!" exclaimed Ryutaro and once again he is adjusting his collar and his hair.
"Ryuuuu-chan!! i want a piggy back!" said Chinen as he suddenly hug Ryutaro from the back.
"NO WAY!! TODAY IS A SPECIAL DAY!!"
the awkward silent started again.. Ren and Yuto looking at each other
and their face shows that they don't know what so special about today.
yuto let go Yamada's arm and Yamada give out a sigh of relief.
"What day is today?" asked Chibi-chan.
"Today is tuesday my dear..." replied Chinen.
"WRONG! today is wednesday, right Eri?" said Keito.
"Maybe... " Eri turned to Ayumu to get an answer.
"Today is wednesday.." said Ayumu.
"An ORDINARY wednesday," said Daiki.
"Maybe there's a circus at the town!" exclaimed Yuto. "YAY! do you want to go there Ryuu-chan?"
Ren and Yamada gave him a whack on the head. "There are NO CIRCUS!! BAKA!!"
Ryutaro stood there silent. "they forgot about my birthday. today is just an ordinary wednesday. they forgot about me."
Ryutaro then walk out of the class and ran into his class.
"Today is the worse day ever!"

Ryutaro walk home alone today but he didn't went straight back home. He kills his time by going at the playground.
"I'll celebrate my brithday alone this year..."
He saw an old slide and decided to play it once. he then play the swings and the lastly, he play at the sand box.
he make a birthday cake out of the sand.
"This year i am 16 years old still single and will be forgotten by
families and friends," said Ryutaro then he pretend to blow the candles
which is actually twigs.
"I should go home now~"
he reached his home and he tried to open the door but it is lock.
"MOM! I'm home! please open the door for me..."
KACHACK * the sound of the door being unlock.
Ryutaro opens the door and loud sound of trumpet could be heard. confetti and balloons are everywhere.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO U.. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO U.." everyone started singing for him.
then from the crowd, Kumiko is holding the birthday cake and she
walks toward Ryutaro. Yabu Kota and Takaki Yuya pushed Ryutaro to
Kumiko's direction. Ryutaro ALMOST knock down the cake and Kumiko but
luckily he manage to maintain his body composure.
"make your wish first..." said Kumiko.
Ryutaro close his eyes as he is about to make a wish. then he blow all the candles.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, RYUTARO!" Everyone in the room greeted him.
"Happy sweet sixteen ryutaro!" exclaimed Maye and yuna.
Then ryutaro's mom came out from the crowd and give him a big hug.
"my baby boy is already grown up....your friends want to give you a
suprise party.. so hehe suprise sweety.." said his mother and she gave
him a kiss on the cheek.
"thank you everyone!!" said Ryutaro in tears.
this is the best birthday ever!!!
