Poll Merchandheif ?

It has come to my attention that I'm probably the only person who tips merch guys at shows. I'm trying to figure out if I'm crazy or just being really nice. What do you do ?

Most of the bands I really feel compelled to support in that way actually don't sell merchandise. Funny paradox. I'd buy them a drink or something but I'm too shy.

YES merch people don't usually get paid shit. As someone who's toured doing merch for bands it sucks and any tip is appreciated. Anyone who tipped me usually got free kisses and other goods from the band. Always tip.

I only have once, I think. Now I can't even remember who it was. Generally I never have the cash to buy merch in the first place... so...

I think you're just really nice, although slightly crazy to boot (I remember you offering gas money to Patrick!).
