This ep was awesome, I really love it when the actors play evil, they're friggin good at it haha
this and ep 4 are the only eps I really enjoyed this season... possibly because of Dean, but I wasn't so impressed with the rest of the eps, and the Leviathan thing is kinda meh to me. (tho at least it seems more put together than s6)
I was also surprised Dean didn't try to persuade Sam to stay, maybe he's tired or feeling really guilty - but I don't think it's so smart splitting up with such a deadly foe on their tails...

2. YES. I know, I was surprised Dean didn't try to get Sam to stay as well. I'm thinking maybe he's learning, that Sam will do what he wants regardless and will leave anyway, and I think he also knows it's going to take some time to fix it this time. He majorly lied to Sam this time, and I think he knows that and is letting Sam have his time to himself.

But you'd think that after having run into Leviathans that can clone without killing, they would stick together. But you know, I'm not the one writing it so .. rofl

Also, also. I fucking love this mother fucking show. Fucking Air Supply bitches, oh god Dean I love you don't ever change. Dean singing to Air Supply and then trying to secretly sing and avoid Sam looking at him and then not being able to sing because of Sam. Did I mention I fucking love this show?

I have to agree with you, about Dean being tired. But, I think he understands where Sam is coming from, and at the same time is hoping that he won't really go through with it, since they've FUCKING DONE THIS BEFORE ALDJFALJFSLK. ugh. These boys just need--well, we already discussed that.

But yes, that. Dean seems like he's been tired for awhile, since the beginning of this season, it seems like. All the years, all the shit, beginning to take their toll on him.

It really is. And he's starting to turn into a sad version of John, and it makes me sad except in my pants. Poor bb has never had a chance to be Dean or to be a kid. Sam kinda did at Stanford, but Dean never got it and it breaks my fucking heart. NO WONDER THESE BOYS ARE TERRIBLE WITH EMOTIONS.

I KNOW RIGHT?! Even now Dean is trying his best to uphold all the shit John had taught him and beat into him over the years growing up. And I think he's slowly coming to terms with Sam being his own person and not being able to protect him forever, which leaves Dean sort of lost and on his own because protecting Sam, keeping Sam safe and hunting are the two things he's ever known how to do.

And now they're up against things that they can't kill, that took Cas from them, that can fucking CLONE THEM and I think it's just building up and he's just at such a loss for what to do and he's got so much pent up emotions wrapped up and bottled up inside.
