Wow. I enjoyed the dress story. My mom is the same way. just when I think I've gotten her to make a decision about what I'm going to wear, she changes her mind and off we go on a wild goose chase.

Anyway, have fun at the Navy Ball, I hope the dress ends up looking fantastic (the cut seems like it would be nice, anyway) and I hope you get to have fun with your friends on/ around your birthday.

Your story remembered me of the time when i used to chase for prom dresses as well. I went shopping with my friends and i had fun trying so many dresses, that the woman who sold them went crazy! Anyways, i enjoyed it and i would do it again without hesitation, i am the kind of girl who doesn't stop searching till it gets what she wants. By the way, you bought a great dress for your ball!

it is a great story and it shows determination in you character. I remember when I used to shop for prom dress on my own without my mom.
