Had a really nice day out in Shrewsbury today, we took the Harlescott P&R, so much easier than battleing your way through town centre traffic to find parking, wasn't exactly looking foreward to the first part of the day, hubby had a dentist appointment but all ok for him, mines next month

What a lovely town. England seems to have so many beautiful places like this. We have nothing so lovely and cahrming here in boring, hot old Florida.

Thankyou, i would love to visit your America, don't you have lovely beaches in Florida ? we live in landlocked Shropshire, well technically we live in Wales, i can see Shropshire just across the lane :))
I suppose, being a small island, we're not that far from the sea anyway lol !

Shrewsbury is quite a large town,the photo of the pedestrian area is a bit deceiving, it's a steep walk up to the top, theres also a riverside shopping centre, we didn't get to that though.
I love Shrewsbury,lots of old buildings, it has it's very own castle and of course the mighty River Severn.
