I really like this! I'm not an avid photographer but have been surrounded by them my whole like and LOVE photography (honestly if I had the money to build a dark room I would SO get into photography but I think all the digitizing takes away the spark and uniqueness that photography once had and I get bored with digital cameras easily) BUT there is so much good advice in here really for any type of artist! Love it! =D

Well I did photography at school using old analogue cameras and we had a dark room and developed our own photos which is what originally got me hooked. I then didn't touch it for years and just a couple of months ago I dived back into it and bought a digital SLR and a couple of lenses. I've been trying my best with it and went on a course to learn all the manual settings (as I thought what the hecks the point in buying a fancy camera and not using it fully) and I also bought a re-make of a vintage film camera. http://microsites.lomography.com/diana/ and I got all the fun lenses with it too...I'm yet to see results from this, I need to get my film developed. God knows what the pics will turn out like as I've never tried photography with such a basic camera before. So I have the best of both worlds :)

Anyway, wow...I always manage to post an essay reply to everyone!! :D
