‘Let go of me brat! You heard him! He chose you! To him I’m not important!’ The older boy yelled, kicking his brother aside, forcing the younger boy to let go.
‘How could do that to your brother!?’ Their mother scolded, hugging the crying boy.
‘He’s not my brother anymore! Nor is that man my father!’ The older boy yelled before storming out of the house, leaving his mother to care for the other boy.
*FLASHBACK END*

‘Arioka-san, can you sign this document? It is about the partnership with the Takamura Corp, sir.’ A young woman said, passing a document to a teenage boy who was her boss.
‘Leave it.’ The boy said to his secretary, not even bothered to look up at her and continued with his work he was doing. His voice was cold, empty and emotionless.

The young secretary nodded, placed the document on the desk and bowed before leaving the office. After she close the door of the office, she let out a sigh. She felt pity for the young boy to turn out that way.

Every worker in the Arioka Group knows that their current president, Arioka Daiki, was forced to run the business at a very young age. Being the heir to his father’s empire he was trained since he was young and did not need to go to public school since he was though by private tutors. He got his PHD at the age of 5 and was known as a professor merely one year later. Due to losing both his parent to an accident 2 months after gaining that title, he was forced to take over his father’s group immediately. Surprisingly, even without the help from his father’s advisers which he totally ignored, he managed to not only maintain his father’s reputation but also improve it till its current glory which is well known as the number 1 business group worldwide. However it was also known by everyone, even his business partners that Arioka Daiki has a cold, emotionless character. Yes, only business partners. Arioka Daiki does not have friends. Due to having to run the business empire at such a young age, he does not have the time to build a social air around him or rather he doesn’t care about it.

The secretary can only sigh while settling down at her desk but at the sound of footsteps on the marble floor, she looks up and immediately stands up and bowed at the coming person.

‘Chinen-san.’ She greeted at a boy who is dressed as a high school student.
‘Minami-san….. How many times had I said not to call me that? It makes me sound old. I’m only 19 years old.’ The boy pouted.
‘Ah. Gomenasai, Chinen-kun.’ Minami apologized.
‘Daijoubu, daijoubu. Though I would prefer Chii-chan instead. It’s Dai-chan in?’ Chinen said.
‘Arioka-san is dealing with some paperwork now. Should I inform him of your arrival?’ Minami asked.
‘There’s no need for that. After all he’ll know it’s me.’ Chinen said, directly opening Daiki’s office door without even knocking and closing it behind him.
‘It’s a miracle if he doesn’t; after all you’re the only one who dares to not knock before entering his office. ‘ Minami thought after Chinen has close the door.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
‘Chinen-kun, what do you want from me?’ Daiki asked coldly, the moment he heard his office door opened and shut. He already knew that the visitor was the shortest of his 9 cousins the moment he did not heard a knock.
‘Dai-chan…… It’s fine if Megumi-san calls me that but I’m your cousin for god sake.’ Chinen whined.

Daiki gave his cousin a cold glare. He gets up from his seat and move to the cupboard on the left side of his desk. This cupboard has 9 drawers and on each drawer a small tag is paste on it. Daiki opened the drawer with the tag Chinen Corp., took the first fail out toss it straight at his cousin who catch it out of pure reflexes right before the fail could slam into his face.

‘It you have time to care about how others address you, you should care more about that company of yours and lessen my burden! In addition, stop calling me Dai-chan. I let you call me by my first name because you are my cousin but I’m not that close.’ Daiki said coldly.
‘At least some of us have a life. Not like a mad man who only knows how to sit behind that damn desk!’ Chinen yelled.
‘That life of yours gives your company, problems in area where you show sympathy causing unnecessary losses to it.’ Daiki kept his tone.
‘Not everyone a workaholic! At least we have something called a heart, idiot!’ Chinen yelled, tossing the fail in his hand on the floor before running out of the office. He continues to leave the building without even stopping to say goodbye to Megumi. Tears can be seen flowing from his eyes.

Megumi walked into her boss office and saw her boss picking up a fail.

‘Sir, do you need any help?’ She asked.
‘No, just close the door when you leave.’ Megumi heard her boss usual cold reply and she left the room.

After Megumi has left, Daiki look out his window just in time to see Chinen enter his limousine.

‘I used to have a heart, Chinen. However it has long been scattered and disappeared.’ Daiki mumbled to himself before placing back the fail and return to his work earlier.
