First, I would like to warn you that I started writing this entry on the 18th, so... yeah. There's that. Second, it is deceptively long. Those lj cuts just cannot be trusted.
So, last night (Monday the 17th) I picked up Catching Fire- thinking that I'd read a chapter or so and drift off to sleep? Yeah, see, that didn't happen. What DID happen is I marathon read the entire freaking thing between the hours of 5-9am. Yeah. Why I was trying to READ A BOOK in an attempt to put myself to sleep at five in the morning is beyond me. I have no excuses. And I don't feel like cutting so no spoilers but OH MY GOD, I LOVE FINNICK. I mean, I knew I would. I'd been spoiled enough about him that I knew he'd be a favorite character but holy crap, I loved him. Way more than I like any of the other characters and I don't even know why.
The books kind of annoy me in parts (my ear they reconstructed can hear the force field? Really, Katniss?) but again, I am astounded by how much I just COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN. It just really reels you in- like, I'm not even gonna lie, I'm not the BIGGEST fan of Katniss. She could be a stronger character, and I think if the whole love triangle thing was out of the way she'd seem less shallow and Bella Swan-esque. (Okay, I'm sorry, comparing them was too much. These books are actually better than Twilight.) But she does damn well for a girl thrown into this kind of conflict- and again, I usually hate first person so much. Like, I usually can't even get into it unless it's written really well, and like- parts of this definitely are. There are some Mary Sue elements there, but they don't make up her character.
Anyway. I digress. FINNICK IS AWESOME. Now I have to go read Mockingjay so I don't keep myself awake again.
Annnd,
halcyon_iota asked me a couple more questions from
this meme, so here are those answers.
1. A story about you and your girlfriend?
Oh jeez~ there are so many. Um, let's see. Well, I already mentioned the weird yet adorable naked slow dancing to Come Sail Away in that other post, along with that awkward first fail!kiss. Hmm... okay! Well, so this one time we were at the zoo, right? It was zoo-like and awesome and we were having a pretty awesome time. So- we went to go see the tigers, because they are my favorite, but when we got there there was a crowd of schoolkids standing where you usually look at the tigers. So like, we here this squeaking and when we look into the enclosure there's this baby duck running around. I guess it got stuck in the enclosure somehow, but it was running around making a racket and like- the tigers were sleeping and the zoo employees were walking around the enclosure kind of at a loss. And well, I'm sure you can guess how this story turns out. Loads of elementary school kids asking if the duck would be okay, parents rushing to console them, etc. (Yet oddly, the parents were not leading them away to avoid the coming catastrophe.)
Anyway, one of the tigers woke up and I mean- dude, they never get live food, so that tiger pounced on the baby duck the second it saw it. Like, instantly every single one of the schoolkids burst into really noisy, screaming tears and their parents were just like- yeah. So, tiger got a meal, baby duck got an unfortunate end, and schoolkids had a bad day.
But well- me and Allie are kind of assholes. And this is why she bought me a stuffed tiger in the gift shop and I named it Duck. It was certainly the most eventful trip to the zoo we've ever had. And it's my favorite stuffed animal, right up there with the 3 stuffed dragons (The Great Slash Dragon, Norbert, and Axel) that she got me for Valentines Day last year.
2. What song can you identify yourself with most? And why?
Again, difficult. I have 90 gigs of music and over the years I've had many that I identify with. It depends on the year, what's happening at the moment, etc. But
What Happens Tomorrow (Duran Duran) has always, always been something that's familiar. I remember six years ago I was on vacation at a beach house with my dad, my brother, my uncle and his family, and a couple of their friends and they'd been drinking tequila all day and my uncle is kind of a dick, so he started harassing his wife and when he hit her him and my dad got in this huge epic fight and I got between them because I'm an idiot and go towards danger instead of away when someone I love is getting hurt and he choked me and just- it was awful. Being that person to still corral the younger kids and my cousin Britney to safety after having a grown man's hands around your neck? It's just. Really not fun at all and it was just me and Shane, none of the other adults were doing anything and I remember listening to that song that night- "Child, don't you worry. It's enough you're growing up in such a hurry" and "We try not to show how frightened we are" and "You've got to believe, it'll be alright in the end" and I really did identify it. I let those lyrics give me some hope, let myself believe that this shit was always going to happen but somehow, I will make it okay in the end.
Since then, it really hasn't been alright. If anything, it just went downhill and downhill, threw me for loops, and left me to flounder, but I still go back to that song, I still let myself believe that it's going to be alright. Because it will.
...Emotional answer is terribly emotional, and a little personal, but music plays a big part in my life and well.
3. Uh, favorite food?
Difficult. Tie between anything Chinese crab rangoon and
pirozki. For those who don't know, pirozki are these Russian meat pies that Allie made when I first met her and oh my god, you guys, that might be why I fell in love with her. No, no, I'm kidding. I was totally crushing on her already at that time. But y'know, I also like Fish and Chips and Shepherd's Pie and all sorts of fruits and I kid you not, if you make me an excellent salad I will love you forever.
4. What do you do to cheer yourself up when you're feeling down?
Fanfic, I guess? There are a lot of fics that get me all happy and warm inside when I read them, so rereading a short one perks me up. I listen to music a lot too, so I'll change it to a happy-feel good playlist. Jogging/walking- it gets my mind off things and I can listen to happy-feel good music at the same time, so win/win. Oh! Another thing is that I CLEAN when I'm upset. Whether it's pissed off upset where I want to put my fist through the walls or just kind of sad and depressed- I clean obsessively. I'll start on one room and I don't stop until I deem it worthy. And then I'll move on to the next. My grandma used to do this a lot too, so I think I might have picked it up from her.
5. Of all the fanfics you've written, which one are you most proud of?
That's... difficult. I'd say... hm. God, this question is impossible, because I've written a lot of fic and there are a couple that are just MY BABIES. Like, even if they aren't that popular, they're mine and I love them. So. I uh, narrowed those down. The first thing that initially sprung to mind was
The Lovers Grimm (FF7/KH/Naruto) because dear god, it was such a bitch to work through. I'm sure Allie wanted to murder me those nights, because we spent like three days emailing and chatting back and forth about the characterizations and how much sex was acceptable and what exactly Axel-as-an-incubus would look like, whether Zack would have a cowboy hat and so on and so forth. And then I finally posted it and just- guys. I do not deserve you. As a weird crossover/fusion, I didn't expect many people to read it and then just- so many people did. It was weird.
But see, then I remembered
Crash, Crash, Burn and how I really liked the way it turned out. For something that should have been a 300 word drabble, I adore it. Not to mention that week in particular was a peculiar kind of hell and I got a lot of my frustrations out by killing the boys over and over again. And THEN I went to go track down the link for The Lovers Grimm and remembered
Chance a Glance at the Stars which is just ashf; I don't even know, I love it. It is my happy ending for Axel and Roxas. Because Roxas deserves to get his own body and fly around with The Doctor until they locate and save Axel. And really, it's probably at LEAST my favorite. It's just so happy. I adore it. I'm actually kind of working on a sequel for it.
But there's also
Celluloid Manifesto of Framed Elegance which is based on Allie's prompt that instead of hiding that he's a sorcerer, Merlin is hiding that he's a time traveler. And then I fused it with Doctor Who and wrote in a weird style and got super caught up in how the Orion Nebula would look like from The TARDIS and just- I don't know. I like it.
And then last but certainly not least, there's
And When Time Comes Calling. I wrote it in 2008, when my life was coming unraveled at the seams and my dad was getting us evicted and well, it means a lot to me. I poured so much into that fic, so much feeling, so much grief, so much joy- because it was the only thing keeping me from going as crazy as my dad. I wrote it at the worst time in my life, and I still can't quite duplicate the way I wrote it.
So uh, too much information and definitely not just one, but I'm pretty sure it's impossible to choose between these five. They each mean something to me and thus, they're all incredibly special to me, and I'm very proud of each of them.
Lol, Repo/Hunger Games crossover would be kind of epic. Finished Mockingjay. (Tuesday the 18th) I was sadfaced. It's like clockwork, I swear. And.... have the second part of the 5000 question meme.
101. What does happiness/joy feel like physically?
Happiness feels warm and fuzzy in your chest. It feels like drinking a glass of champagne, like singing in the rain- like watching a storm at sea. Happiness feels like you've been punched in the gut, and it feels like the softest of caresses. It feels like waiting for Santa when you were a kid and like seeing a dolphin in the ocean for the first time. It feels like fireworks have gone off inside you, and everything's soft and pretty around the edges.
102. List five people you love starting with the one you love the absolute most.
A - Allie
B - Chris
C - Donna
D - Lizzy
E - Grandma Regina
103. How many movies have you gone to see this month?
Hmm... I don't know if we went to see any this month? Ah wait! We saw Narnia on the 3rd! And I think we saw Harry Potter in December, so that doesn't count. Oh and Black Swan? Wait, no I think that was in December too. Ah well, we're thinking about seeing No Strings Attached on Friday just because we have a mutual crush on Natalie Portman like a mile wide. Seriously.
SHE IS SO GORGEOUS.
104. If you could have 3 wishes...but none of them could be for yourself, what would you wish for?
- My dad to get better.
- For David to get my brothers away from my mom and let them be happy.
- For everyone I love to be happy.
105. In what ways do you relax and de-stress when you are really tense?
A lot of the time I take my frustration out on my writing. I just write and write and write until I feel better. And as I mentioned up there, I like cleaning. It helps. When I was in South Carolina I did some beginners yoga, drank a lot of tea, and jogged around the block.
106. How much money would it take to get you to drive to school naked in the springtime and get out of the car?
10 million dollars. But does this mean if I got out of the car I could get right back in? Because I'd probably do that for a couple hundred thousand.
107. Have you ever killed an animal?
I accidentally stepped on a lizard when I was like three. I cried for most of the day and then buried it. And uh, my hamster died, but that wasn't my fault.
108. Have you ever lost someone close to you?
My grandmother died when I was 11. As she was the only thing good in my life up til then, it was pretty bad. My grandfather died a couple years ago, but I wasn't there for that and hadn't talked to him in years. A girl that I was kind of friends with (she pierced my ears and was best friends with one of my friends) died in high school. And then my sister's best friend and his friend got hit by a train right behind our house, but I think that's it.
109. What do you think of cloning?
Eh. It sounds cool.
110. Do you read or watch TV more often?
Read, holy crap, read.
111. With all this talk of terrorism going around are you willing to sacrifice rights and freedoms for increased safety?
No.
112. What is the punishment you would come up with for Osama Bin Laden if you caught him alive?
I have no idea. Stick him in a building and blow it up.
113. Have you ever named an individual part of your body?
Ahaha, what? It's kind of an ongoing joke that Angela's tits are named Mike and Ike. But uh, not me. According to a boob name generator what is this I don't even mine are called Abercrombie and Fitch.
114. Have you ever been on the radio or on TV?
My house was on the tv once, but I think that's it.
115. Have you ever won a lottery, or sweepstakes?
I won like 5 bucks once off those lottery ticket things. My aunt used to get them for us for Christmas as a stocking stuffer.
116. Have you ever won a contest or competition?
I won the District Spelling Bee in eighth grade. And then there was a contest for who would design the new financial planning book in computer art and I won. I got a plaque! And uh, I designed the cover on the book! I... won a watermelon seed spitting contest when I was eight. And then we won games in like, basketball, soccer, swimming, and tennis. I have trophies and crap.
117. Do you like to watch The Joy of Painting show with Bob Ross (check out this link if you don't know who he is. Also please note me if you notice the link is broken)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bob_Ross_(painter)?
I had no idea who he was until now, so no.
118. Do you know what your grandparents and your great grand parents did for a living?
Um. Wow. I actually don't know. My grandma and grandpa on my mom's side were both retired when I was born and my grandmother on my dad's side worked at a bank all her life. My grandpa on my dad's side... I think he has his own firm? He's still working.
119. Is there anything really interesting in your family history?
My aunt like, traced the Kings all the way back and our family came over from Germany in like the 1600s or something. Other than that, there's just a history of diabetes and cancer.
120. Is there anyone you trust completely?
Allie.
121. Have you ever lost someone without having the chance to say goodbye?
My grandma and grandpa on my mom's side.
122. How do you feel about women in politics?
Um. The question is- do I actually care much about politics? Because I don't. I don't like Palin. That's about it for me.
123. Would you rather have an indoor Jacuzzi or an outdoor pool?
Outdoor pool! I love swimming.
124. What things are you interested in that you study or read about on your own?
Language. History. Creative writing.
125. Would you consider yourself to be intelligent?
Yes. Maybe not quite as intelligent as some, but I think I'm leagues ahead of half the employees at my work.
126. Would you consider yourself to be wise?
I don't know. In some things.
127. Have you ever given or received a lap dance?
I'm fairly sure that Alicia and Alise have both given me crappy lap dances as a joke, but beyond that... nope.
128. Have you ever spoken to a homeless person?
I live in Columbus. Yes, I have.
129. Would you ever creep into the subway tunnels to go exploring?
...Maybe. I think it would be really cool, but on the other hand I've seen one too many scary movies with bad things happening in subway tunnels.
130. If you could add 70 years to your life but only by making some random person die 70 years sooner would you?
I KNOW HOW THIS WORKS, STOP TRYING TO TRICK ME. But uh, I am a little selfish so I probably would.
131. Can you finish any of the following lyrics?
A: Nothing to kill or die for... And no religion too. Imagine, The Beatles
B: Late comings with the late comin' stretcher... No idea.
C: I could make a film and make you my star... Yeah, no idea.
132. Were you ever with someone while they died?
I was with my grandmother the day before, but not during.
133. Would you rather be a world political leader or a rock star?
ROCK STAR. THEY GIVE YOU DRUGS FOR FREE. Lol, yeah, I don't know.
134. Have you ever given someone a love letter that you wrote?
*cough* Yeah. There was this guy that I was kind of sort of not really dating called Tristan when I was like freaking 13 and just. We were adorably serious for being 13 years old. But then I got a crush on my friend Britney and we made out a bit and then I moved to Ohio and met Allie.
135. Have you ever sent someone a surprise though the mail?
Yes.
136. Are you looking forward to any concerts right now?
I WANT TO SEE MSI AND MCR IN CONCERT. But I'm not actually going to any, so no.
137. Of all animated movies, which is the best one you've ever seen?
SPIRITED AWAY. This would actually be a really difficult question if I didn't love that one so much.
138. What are the best bands or songs to listen to while driving?
MSI. Definitely. And then a lot of the happy songs. Like The Time, and like- other hypno stuff.
139. What do you think is the most amazing thing that anyone has ever accomplished?
Like someone I know, or just someone? I think... I don't even know. I'll come back to this question. Except I probably won't cause I'll forget.
140. What could a member of the opposite sex do to impress you?
Um. I guess be mature. But as I'm not interested in anything beyond being bros...
141. About how many emails do you get a day?
It depends on how many comments I've left on other peoples journals- whether the threads I'm tracking have updated- whether I've posted fic- whether I've crossposted fic- whether I've updated my journal. Sometimes I still get ff.net updates and I'll occassionally get facebook stuff, io9, and dreamwidth stuff... so maybe... 20 or so usually, more if I've actually done stuff.
How many of those emails are junk mail?
I just got a new email, so none of them are spam yet.
How many of them are forwards?
Again, just got a new one. Haven't really given it to anyone besides Al and my brother.
142. What's your favorite thing to do online besides write in your diary and hang out at this site?
Diary? Diary? THIS IS A JOURNAL, GODDAMMIT. Um. I occasionally read things that aren't on this site? I very rarely do facebook, tumblr, twitter, and dreamwidth stuff.... I do youtube, but then I'll just get stuck in youtube. And then there are webcomics. I like them.
143. Do you believe Kurt Cobain (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kurt_Cobain) killed himself or was it a conspiracy?
I think both are possible. People were depressed back then. People are depressed now. Stuff happens. But I as much as I like Nirvana's music, I really um, don't care much. He's dead and it sucks, and I've spent hours listening to Cheryl go on and on about how he couldn't have killed himself because you can't shoot yourself in the head and then lay the gun on your chest or- I don't know. Stuff like that. Whatever.
144. Have you ever thought about hitchhiking across the country?
I would love to if it was safe. I want to travel.
145. Who would you bring with you on this kind of a road trip?
Allie. Maybe Donna, but I love going places when it's just me and Al.
146. Of the following, which word best describes you:
accurate, bold, I don't know if it means of these two or of all four. So, out of all four... probably dependable. Out of these two, accurate.
charming, dependable
147. If you are single, at about what age do you think you will be ready to settle down and get married? If you are married, how old were you at the time?
I am neither single or married, but I think that I would totally get married there if I was allowed. No kids though. At least not yet.
148. Do you often wonder, when you say goodbye to people, if it is the last time you will ever see them?
Distressingly often. I blame the fact that mom rubbed the whole "never let someone you're mad at leave without apologizing because it could be the last time you see them". She said that ALL THE TIME. And then my dad rubbed it in when we'd get in fights and he'd go get in car wrecks. Stupid, stupid man.
149. What movie are you most looking forward to seeing when it comes out?
Harry Potter 7.2 That's the only one I can think of right now, though I'm sure there are more.
150. What is your quest?
I WANNA BE THE VERY BEST, LIKE NO ONE EVER WAS. TO CATCH THEM IS MY REAL TEST, TO TRAIN THEM IS MY CAUSE.
151. What is louder and more annoying: 200 adults talking or one four-year-old screaming?
Four year old screaming. Though I'm sure both of those would MURDER me. Death by migraine. Not fun.
152. Do you believe the stories about planes, boats and people mysteriously disappearing into the Bermuda triangle?
Maybe. IDK.
153. Who are you the most jealous of?
My sister. She's always been great at everything I've wanted to do. She's a brilliant artist- always has been, and she can play by ear. She was always first chair when we played the flute. And then she always got the Christmas gifts that I wanted. It sucks. Then Angela, because she has everything and takes it for granted. Alex too. I am surrounded by friends that have things so great and they are such bitches about it.
154. What is the happiest way you can start your day?
This one morning I woke up to Allie doing the dishes with Everyone's Free to Feel Good blaring through the apartment and Ryanne watching my Buffy DVDs on the couch. There was bacon, eggs, hashbrowns, and coffee. It was the best morning I can remember.
155. Do you ever have moments where you feel like everything is all right in the world?
Sure. They don't last very long though.
156. Who thinks that you are offensive?
Um, what? I... don't think I'm offensive? Writing porn.
157. If you had to teach a class in something, what would you be able to teach people?
Writing. Making smoothies. Making hemp bracelets.
158. Have you ever had a spiritual experience (an experience that cannot be explained by science)?
Oh god. Okay, so like, I was sheltered all my life, right? Like, we're talking not knowing about ANYTHING outside of church and the bible and Jesus and whatever. I didn't even know who Britney Spears was until I was like eleven. So- in seventh grade I moved up to Youngstown, Ohio with my dad. Not only was it a public school but it was a REALLY BAD public school. I swear to god, if I wasn't friends with Courtney and Alise and Jenna I would have gotten jumped on a daily basis. BUT ANYWAY. Jenna. She may have convinced me that ghosts and possessions and stuff were real and okay, to my credit, when she was pretending to be possessed or whatever she was REALLY convincing. So for the next couple years I jumped at every shadow, terrified myself trying to get to sleep, and just plain wouldn't talk to her. I don't believe in ghosts now. It's definitely possibly, but it's easier for me to not be terrified of them. I'm scared of enough crap without adding demons to the list. This wasn't actually a spiritual experience, but beyond my mom convincing me that Jesus was occasionally in our living room, this is all I could think of.
159. Do you believe that this experience was truly mystical or do you think there is some scientific explanation for it, only you don't know what it is?
I think that it was a kid playing a joke on another kid.
160. Do you get offended easily?
Not really. I just let stuff slide off. Some things do get to me, but not many.
161. Would you still love and stay with your signifigant other if he or she had to have a breast or testicle removed?
A, as in singular? Why wouldn't they just get both removed? Ahaha. I don't know, Allie, what do you think? (Yes, of course I would.)
162. Do you believe in fate or free will?
Team Free Will all the way, yo! Where's my Supernatural icon when I need it?
163. Do you believe that only boring people get bored?
Psssssh, what? No, jesus christ, everyone gets bored.
164. Can life change or are we all stuck in vain?
Life changes, but it's up to you to do so. You can't expect everything to magically get better- you have to put it in motion.
165. What changes are you afraid of?
Turning in my FAFSA. Logically, I know I'm going to get student loans, but I'm terrified that I won't. Getting a car and a license. I'm terrified of driving, so the idea of doing so is scary. But other than that, all the changes that I'm afraid of already happened.
166. Are you a day person or nocturnal?
Totally nocturnal. It's a problem.
167. What one CD could you listen to for an entire week (no mixed CD’s, it must be an album)?
If, by Mindless Self Indulgence. In fact, I'm pretty sure I've done it before. But Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge and In Our Bedroom After The War are both up there. And the Florence + the Machine cd. That's pretty epic. Also, The Tea Party's album.
168. Which is worse, working in retail, food service, or an office?
Food service. It sucks SO MUCH ASS.
169. What's the coolest job you ever had?
I volunteered at an animal shelter. I got to walk and play with puppies and kitties.
170. What is one central idea that your thoughts seem to come back to?
I wish things were different. God, stop asking me angsty questions. I'm not even trying here.
171. Have you ever wanted to be an actor/tress?
No. I've always thought the fame isn't worth the money. I like my privacy and as an actress, I would never have it.
172. If you had the power to control one person and make this person do anything you wanted for a whole day, who would you pick and what would they do?
I would make... Colin Morgan come give me a hug. Or y'know, make Sarah Palin give me a bunch of money.
173. What star sign are you and what is your sign like?
Like... Sagittarius? I'm a Sagittarius. We're... centaurs who like archery. I don't even know, because I don't really pay attention to this crap.
174. Did the Blair Witch Project scare you?
Never saw it.
175. Are you in constant fear of death?
I used to be. Not so much anymore. I still get scared of it sometimes, and I definitely don't want to die, but I don't let it control me.
176. Does fear of death keep you from building a life?
Like I said, no.
177. Do you like all your movies to be in wide-screen?
As I don't have a wide-screen tv, I HATE wide-screen. I liked it when I was using my brothers, but our tvs are way too small for it.
178. Are you a fan of any comic books?
Webcomics! And I've browsed through some of my friends comic books.
179. At what age did you attend your first funeral?
Fourteen, for a dude I didn't even know. I went for my friend Christina's sake.
180. What do you smell like (lotion, cologne, sweat)?
Er- in general I usually smell like shampoo and whatever perfume I put on that day. Right now my hands just smell like cigarettes and chocolate.
181. What are your greatest sources for wisdom?
I don't know, books?
182. When you were little, where did your parents tell you babies come from?
When I was little-little, I didn't ask that question. Not even when they had my brother. But then my mom gave me the sex talk when I was seven.
183. What is your favorite band?
MSI. And The Stars.
184. What's the best cheesy 80's song?
When in Rome, maybe? Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now! I love it. And then Don't Stop Me Now, but I don't know if that was in the 80s or not.
185. What's the best kind of movie to see on a date?
One we'll both like, hopefully.
186. Do you like to sit in the front, middle or back of the Movie Theater?
Back.
187. Have you ever been inside an abandoned building?
Nope. Al and them have though. They set brooms on fire in the old Kroger!
188. Under what circumstances would you agree to work for free?
Um- none. I need the money right now.
189. Candles or strobe lights?
Candles. Strobe lights are shiny, but they give me a headache.
190. Do you think the Lord of the Rings movies are true to the books or did Hollywood change the story too much?
Oh they definitely changed a lot, but I think most of it are changes for the better. That's like the one book-to-movie series that I really and truly enjoyed.
191. When you see a stranger on the street does your first reaction lean towards thinking of this person as a potential friend or as a potential threat?
I live in Columbus! The city! And I'm kind of totally really shy! Of course I think they're a threat!
192. Is it natural for human beings to fear and distrust each other, or is it cultural?
Eh. A bit of both. I think it's natural for things to be suspicious of each other, humans included. But the fear and distrust is definitely instilled into our head as well.
193. What do you really want to buy?
A freaking apartment. Well, that's renting, not buying. A freaking car.
194. You have to choose. Would you be happier marrying someone rich for their money or living in the streets and subway tunnels with someone you love?
Subway tunnels terrify me. So, so, so much, oh my god. How bout I marry someone for their money, never ever touch the goods, and keep Al as my mistress. I like this idea. Subway tunnels are a bad, bad place.
195. If someone wanted to understand you what book could they read that would help?
I have no idea what this question even means. You could read Feed or World War Z to understand my love for zombies, Lamb to understand that I'm kind of a bit of an asshole and I like making fun of my mom's religion, and Everworld and Bartimaeus to know that I'm always kind of a kid at heart. Oh, and maybe Fun Home to get the lesbian/bad parents thing.
196. Do you think it’s odd that Americans have freedom of religion and yet call themselves 'one nation under god'?
Yeah, but there are too many religious people in the country and that probably isn't going to change anytime soon.
197. In what sense are you a minority?
Gay. Does being a chick count? I don't think it does, but everyone includes that in prejudice and the like.
198. Are you anti social?
Yeah, but I like people.
199. Do you photograph well?
Sometimes. Most of the time, not really.
200. Do you think that human beings would survivor through a nuclear winter?
I think that life definitely would. I don't know about humans. We might wipe ourselves out first.

And then you realize that the sunshine is deceptive, it's actually 11 degrees, and one of the cats has puked in your hair.
Also, I played through four basement levels of Re:CoM Rebirth/Reverse in like, two hours last night. Epic. Maybe if I finally finish CoM I can get around to finishing Math Days and Birth by Sleep.
And lastly, a fic meme, because I am still stuck in the land of writer's block. And I live for domestic fic. Also, heads up- this meme is kind of a meme to get me out of writers block so I can finish up that other Mistletoe meme, so I'm not ignoring it, I swear.
Give me a pairing, and then give me an everyday setting (coming home from work, waking up in the morning, going grocery shopping, etc.) and I'll write a short drabble involving said pairing in said situation. You can ask for pairings that have already been requested, and be as creative as you want with the situations!
