Enough is enough!
Guess who just got back from watching the last opening night showing of Snakes on a Plane?
That's right, baby. ME. And it was AWESOME. When Sam Jackson uttered his already infamous line "I've had it with these motherfucking snakes on this motherfucking plane!" everyone in the theater shouted it along with him. The crowd was so into it. When the film was over and the very awesome music video credits were playing, some of the rowdier (and drunker) male theatergoers decided to form a mosh pit down in front. A mosh pit of three. But the shirts came off and there was slam dancing and drunken cheering. We left before there was blood. But the movie was sweet. It was horrible, of course, and really violent--more so than I thought it was going to be--but it was so worth it.
Snakes on a MF'in plane, yo. There it was. My summer is now complete. And it is now 1:45 AM and I have to get up for work in 3.5 hours. D'OH.
Oh, and I'm not dead, have had a very action-packed last two months, etc. Will update later.
