I didn't expect to get into this series, but somehow, I ended up reading the whole thing last week (along with xxxHolic). And that led to a healthy dose of ficcing. XD

Awesome and twisted. Very interesting how Fai's goodness drives Ashura further into madness. (Poor Ashura -- CLAMP just has to curse the Ashuras in all their 'verses, don't they?) I wish we could have learned more about the curse in canon.

I wrote a piece about Ashura and Fai too, awhile back. Not as popular as my comedy KuroFai piece, but man was it fun to torture Fai.

Thank you for reading! Fai and Ashura have such an interesting dynamic, and I kept wondering what Fai made of all the hints of Ashura's madness that we saw in fragments, and also how exactly Ashura snapped at the end. Or if he didn't actually snap, but was losing it secretly all along.
