Wow, it's been a long time....
HI!!!
Soooo, it's been since like April since I have actually posted a blog. I really need to fix that. So, here goes.
Nothing really eventful has happened since I posted last. Well, I got married. But, we have been together for 5 years and have lived together for the better part of that time. So, it's not really any different. Just making it official.
2011 came with no more fanfair than a quick "Happy New Year, okay, I am going to bed now." Is that how they are all going to be now? The older I get, the less likely I will make it to midnight on New Year's Eve? That's how it is appearing.
I turn the big 30 this year. It use to scare the hell out of me, but, not so much now. I think I have pretty much come to terms with the fact that I am getting older and there is nothing I can do to stop it. No matter what, no matter what you take, how many surgeries you have, now much herbal remedies you try, you can't stop aging. You can't stop time. (Sorry to those of you that try. It's not going to work.)
The most exciting thing in my life right now is that a book I have been waiting on for 6 or more months has finally come out today. I use to be that type reader that, if I saw a book I liked, I would just grab it up and read it. I didn't get hooked on different things. I waited until a series was completely out in print before I bought them and I bought them all at one time. Until this series.... Now, I am just like all those other people out there that jump up and down with excitement as because, "It's here!! It's here!! It's finally here!!" *facepalm* And, I was doing so good.... But, alas, I have a new book to read.
Idol is back on... I am watching because I am curious about the new judges. Steven Tyler craps me up! Where has HE been all my life?! JLo is okay. Never really been a big fan of her anyway. And, Randy is, well, Randy. Nothing much you can do to change that. I am hoping someone gets my attention, contestant wise, because, if not, then I don't know if I can watch a whole season just for the judges antics. God knows, what was the only thing that made it even halfway entertaining last season. *Crosses fingers* Here's hoping.
I need some new music. I am desperate for some new music. A certain rockstar needs to hurry up with this album he keeps promising us. At this point he is just teasing. And, it's really mean. (Anyone want to help me punish him? *giggles*)
Okay, I think I have taken up enough of your time. I promise I won't let 9 months go by before I post again. Pinky swear.
