well geez, sorry to hear that. I agree with Brandice's comment that they shouldn't feel they have to offer a huge salary for an entry level job, just because you've got more experience than is called for in the job descrip. Obviously people apply for the jobs that are out there; if there was one that was more appropriate you'd be going for it, so they shouldn't have any problems with that. I guess they think you'll get bored quickly and want to move on? Sheesh. Good luck, we're rooting for you!
Once they put in all the resources to hire a person, train them, get them up to speed, etc. it becomes a risk if that person is out looking for a job they are better qualified for. I totally see their point, but with the job market what it is they need to loosen up a bit.
