i'm sorry to yet again focus on television in this entry, but i can't help it... last night's PR was fabulous, and tim gunn's blog entry on it was even better. here are a few choice excerpts from "tim's take" this week

How sad! A FRIENDSHIP weekend without me... I'm shedding tears here. You should all call me. Is it this weekend or next?
Project Runway was pretty entertaining last night... I have at least narrowed down my faves to Uli, Laura, Kayne, and Michael (my ATL boiiiiii) - in no specific order. It will be hard to choose between them. I thought the show was a little overly harsh on Malan last night. Their editing made him look so bad - how he told that story about his mom throwing his sketches on the floor, and how this was a chance to show her, and then the same night they kick him off. I don't feel that was necessary. Oh well. Also, Vincent better go soon because I can't stand him. And he's not even the good kind of I-can't-stand-you, like Steven was on Top Chef.
the FRIENDSHIP weekend won't be anywhere near complete without my best best. it's next weekend - CAN YOU PLEASE SKIP OUT ON ALL OF YOUR WORK/LIFE RESPONSIBILITIES AND COME HOME FOR IT? (the caps represent me using a very forceful and persuasive tone here)
excellent choices on your favorites from PR! my faves as of right this second are: robert best, kayne, laura, michael, and bonnie. i know that's approximately half of the contestants, but i just can't help liking so many! vincent and angela were a trainwreck last night... i LOVED watching them struggle. i think they should have gotten rid of angela, but also made a smart choice to eliminate someone based on his work, not his behavior. poor malan - i told laura earlier that i felt really bad because when he told that story about his mom, i said i thought he made it up on the spot. then later, when he was crying, i wanted to take that comment back. poor malan.
