New Setup

Decided to mess around with the setup. I wish I had more stands and space. I'm happy with this. It flows alright, I really need stands. I'm thinkin new cymbals soon too. A customs, brilliant finish. Maybe I should just build a rack?

do you know if the gretsch blackhawks are a good buy? i'm probably getting a set of those for christmas. the catalina birchs are a bit out of my price range, but i know gretsch makes good products.

Sean, I wouldn't go with the blackhawks if I were you. I would look at pearl instead. Do you want just shells or full hardware? Do you like fusion sizes aka (10,12,14)" toms? I would say go with those sizes as they are becoming the new standard, away from the old sizes(ew). Take a look these

yeah i was looking for full hardware, and i do prefer the fusion sizes. i was actually thinking about pearl before looking at the gretsch, so i will probably go with that now, though i'd still like to try out that ddrum set. the main thing that turned me off about the ddrums were the color schemes but i suppose if it played nicely i'd consider getting it.

Yeah, well the people I hang out with here listen to all sorts of stuff and some of it's quite alright. Reggie, Coheed & Cambria's alright, um...Ted Leo is amazing, The Rocket Summer...yeah...a few new things I like a bit now. Like some Reggie is really good...some I don't like at all...
