Something I don't exactly understand: People who are not (a)Catholic or (b)even somewhat religious "giving up" something for lent. The discussion made it's way around my office yesterday. One of my co-workers goes: so what are you giving up for lent? I told her I wasn't particularly religious. She then said, well, you know, lots of people still do
